  • I have lifted heavy in the past, and loved it. But I haven't had the opportunity again and don't have money for access to where I could. I REALLY want to though, and when I have the money after the New Year, this is what I plan to do.
  • Awesome work! keep it up :drinker:
  • I've only ran one 5k so far and the advice I can give for specifically race day is; don't psych yourself out. It's just a different route and you've got it down. I am preparing for my next 5k in December and I've started to incorporate interval training 2-3 times a week. This is going to help me improve my speed so it's…
  • Feel free to add me ladies. I'm 21 years old
  • Feel free to add me anyone!
  • Warm sunshine Mountains The ocean Hugging the people you care about Making a baby smile/seeing a baby smile a purring cat a dog wagging it's tail chocolate a warm meal on a cold day snuggling up to sleep next to my boyfriend good books good music smell of dryer sheets smell of incense lemonade on a hot day coffee,…
  • Different clothes will show different parts of a tattoo, or some will show off the whole thing. I have a large tattoo on my side that is fully visible when I'm in my bikini and only partially visible in some tank tops. Some bras leave it uncovered so I really want to get some shirts that are cut out at the side so I can…
  • Added you! Feel free to add me anyone, I'm looking for people who actively use MFP.
  • I've lost a total of 19 pounds since beginning to lose weight January last year....no problems. You can do it!
  • Hey everyone! I'm finally going to be starting NROLW in less than two weeks. I can get a cheap membership at my college and I'm just waiting for the semester to start! I'm looking for some new friends and it would be awesome if it were some other ladies who are lifting! Feel free to add me!
  • I started working out and losing weight right after Christmas last year, so I'm hoping to be pretty close to my main fitness goals by then. I'm starting heavy lifting again in a few weeks so that should definitely speed up the process! I started at 155+lbs I'm now at 139lbs. I want to get down to 135lbs at the most, but it…
  • I'm not married yet, but my boyfriend and I have talked about having a non-religious/atheist ceremony. I've looked into non-religious officials but I'm still undecided on what kind of venue I want. I really want an outside area to be available, but of course I don't want it rained on. I also want to do something unique…
  • I think that you should use the venue that you like. As long as your wedding isn't on the same day it should be fine
  • It depends on the way you say it and how much feeling you put into it. I feel like even a significant glance, touch, or kiss can be just as meaningful to your significant other. I can see it and feel it when my boyfriend looks at me.
  • The only reason I like facebook is because all of the pictures I've accumulated over the years are still there after multiple computer crashes or memory cards being lost. I can't imagine it will be used by people in a few years, obviously some, but it will die down.
  • After running for only about 5 week,s I did my first 5k in 32:02. I'm running my next 5k in December and hope to be around 28 minutes or less.
  • I think you should just take the day easy and enjoy yourself. You could definitely do a workout before/after but you will be walking around a lot and burning calories there. Don't splurge and eat everything in sight, but don't completely limit yourself. Have something tasty and greasy! I know that when I head to the fair…
  • I run about 10-15 miles a week, probably a little more now. I just got my first 5k under my belt and just started doing 5 mile runs instead of 3 miles. I'll add you!
  • Thanks for the responses! I've never been a protein shake or powder kind of person, I was just interested to see what others thought. I love me some steak, chicken, bacon, hamburger and cheese. I'm not going to start drinking muscle milk on a regular basis or anything, but I'll definitely drink the bottle I have since it…
  • I need some friends too! 21 years old here! Feel free to add me ANYBODY!
  • I think cute is a good thing. A lot of women say it and men seem to find it weird. Cute is good. Top google definitions: Attractive in a pretty or endearing way. Sexually attractive.
  • The color run looks like so much fun! I unfortunately missed the one in my area this year. Next year I plan on running it though, along with the one I ran this year. I've been looking at a 5k that is in December and also some of the 5k flyers I got at my first 5k. I can't wait to do another soon!
  • Hey everyone! I've been in the group a while, but just decided to post now. I'm Megan, 21 years old and trying to lose about 10-15 more pounds. I've openly been Atheist for about 7 years, but I've come a long way. I used to be a very narrow minded and obnoxious Atheist, now I am more accepting and consider myself an…
  • I don't have an iphone myself, but my boyfriend's mother does and she loves it. The coverage is a lot better and she has had no complaints about it. On the other hand, you could switch from Sprint because there may be some cheaper options.
  • It really depends on both of your personalities. I personally would never do it. I've had friends who were in open relationships for 7 years, but in the end the boyfriend couldn't take it anymore. It was hurting him for years, but he always just pushed it down and had sex with other partners just to "feel better". Give it…
  • I see a lot women saying that she knows and that they would be pissed, but I disagree. I honestly didn't realize the weight I had gained until it came around to summer again. Not that I gained a bunch of weight, but it was 25lbs on my short body. I've since told my boyfriend that if I ever get really fat to please please…
  • For me it's quite the opposite. I wear an HRM while running so I get an accurate reading every time. I am quite short 5"4' and 139lbs (21 year old female). For instance, I just ran my first official 5k race and I did it in 32 minutes, and burned 470 calories. Today, I ran 5 miles, but at a much slower pace: 68 minutes of…
  • I definitely pushed myself to my limit, my first mile was my fastest ever (7 minutes). Then I had to lower the pace because I was getting tired, by the end I really felt like I was gonna be sick. After some water I felt a lot better though. I'm gonna keep pushing and getting better!
  • I don't think that will be too low. I'm 5'4" and pretty curvy all over even at my lowest weight of 125lbs. If you're happy with your weight then that's all that matters!
  • Awesome everyone! I think it doesn't matter what others get, as long as you feel good about your time. I'm going to start running more miles per week or just more miles at a time (more than 3) so then a 5k will feel easier.
