Wow you have more motivation than me that's for sure, I can just about handle treading water on the fine line that is a full time job, part time work and an educational course, once that's all done for a day I can just about see to my dogs and fall asleep lol! Though I am gonna try a zumba session in a bit to counter…

Yup! I've concluded I'm stuck with mine thanks to genetics, my mum and sister have the same type of knees even when they're skinny!

I hate some of my stretch marks, specifically the ones on my inner thighs as now those sections of skin are weak and prone to injury (dreaded friction burn!). I went out last night and from a 10 minute amble now have cuts so bad I have had to bandage them, and I'm not even that big in the grand scheme of things, it's just…

You know what? You have a husband who loves you. It's so much more than some of us will ever hope to have. Take that happiness and allow it to motivate you on your journey, and good luck. Just know that there are some of us who are jealous of you and what you have :)

Leave. Walk away. Do not bother wasting your time, caring, dignity or anything else on this.

I just stopped. But I couldn't say it was a cold turkey affair, because that implies some form of hardship. I've just never had the addiction, even on 20+ a day. I just pick them up and put them down as I feel like it, I've never "needed" one. I have however just bought a couple of packs for the first time in 2 years due…

about 250-500 a day right now (all alcohol). Through heartache and stress, not a diet choice. Not helpful I know :(

oh yes, and no blow drying or brushing, I only finger comb my hair, and sometimes twiddle chunks round my fingers to encourage it to go at least in the same direction!

I'm another on the curly girl method bandwagon, though I possibly modify it a tad - I do sometimes use shampoo, but only sulphate free. Going sulphate and silicone free made a huge difference to my scalp and skin, I love Naked products and swear by the silky/long hair conditioner with jojoba, it's fantabulous. I also run…

apologies for the huge pic, I was just quacking in anticipation... :) But no, it's a load of baloney, you lose weight because of the severe calorie restriction. And it's not sustainable, nor safe.

Yup, a "few bowls every morning" will do that for you - doesn't matter how healthy it is, if you overeat, you'll stay fat! :) PS i love bowls of cereal, and have to work hard to limit my portion size to a sane calorie count - it's WAY to easy to consume 500+ calories on a decent cereal chow-down!

I'm 16lbs down and don't feel as if I look any different - so you're not alone! It really is disheartening as well! In fact, I'd actually lost 18, and stalled on my plan because I was so miffed at not looking any better that I ended up putting 2lbs back on. I think that's turning back around again, but the scale is about…

My mum is on WW atm - a few weeks ago I watched her make a meal that was "in her points allowance". around 300g boiled mixed veg, then 6 rashers of (cheap, high fat) bacon on top of some ciabatta. I worked it out mfp style for her, that plate was around 1000+ cals - and then she was going to the cinema, which involves…

If you eat pizza, subway, hamburgers etc, you're probably not going to see the scale budge the way you'd like! A lot of your food choices are good, but most days I see something that's *not* so healthy. A couple of days you go over by 4 or 500 calories looking over the past week. Lots of people here have pointed out the…

loads of us! I'm in Kent as well :)

Another vote here for not listening to the treadmill on calories burned. During a 45 minute c25k session I would burn around 400 according to my hrm. This is doubling that estimate for you and could be a major factor. I would try keeping your calorie goal the same for now, but don't eat back the exercise calories, or maybe…

I'd say that's not bad - I did a 10k (6.2 miles) ride to my friends house a few weeks back, it took me an hour to get there. The ride back took fifty minutes (the weather was nicer when I came back lol) I used my hrm during the ride and burned around 1000 calories across the 2 hour stint, and I felt stoked about it - you…

Cheesy mash, rare steak and cheesecake *drool* ETA: and red wine. There is no 1 thing, but this is 1 meal I would gladly repeat for eternity!

It can't count as a RickRoll if you've given us forewarning ^_^

Circa, good point, my maths brain was having a wafty moment there, and you're right, however, dj09 is also correct, which brings me to John, your answer is both amazing for the cleverness of it all, and scary because at this time of night, I can't make it make sense for me, lmao. Which brings me finally to Joolie, and I…

3 ryvita multigrain crispbreads, 30g low fat cottage cheese, a couple of cherry tomatoes sliced on top and a bit of caramelised onion chutney, yum! Then a small bag with approx 50g nuts and seeds mixed. The seeds are the magic touch to my lunch, they take ages to eat and fulfil my "hand to mouth repetition" need during the…

The comment about wearing the right clothes was spot on! A few weeks ago I rode to my friends house, it's a 20k round trip, and I did it in my jeans. Net result? The denim had completely abraded the skin from my kneecap, it was sooo sore! Still healing up from it now lmao - shan't be riding in them again any time soon!

I'm a bit confused, why are you using paper when MFP has it here and preprogrammed to help you out? Or is that what you meant by "on paper"? I've never paid attention to the "you should weigh x in x weeks if you follow this", because weight loss is often intermittent, especially in the beginning stages of a new regime, as…

I love the dress, but the colour on you isn't doing it for me, I think because you are so tanned it's giving off a clashing effect. The dress would look amazing if it had a cream underlayer and rick brown top layer imo :) The fit, now THAT is superb, yay you!

bump to keep the recipe!

anyone? hehe or am I alone and kidding myself that it's a good plan? :)

feel free to nose at mine (though you'll have to go back a few days as I've been lax and not logged properly, having a bit of a *stuff it* time at the minute, starting a new job soon so will be able to give more concentration to logging with having a structured lifestyle once more! I love big meals in the evening so tend…

MFP figures the 500 calorie daily defecit into your number - it does all the maths for you, so stick to what it says! If you've been given 1200 (MFP won't encourage eating under 1200 as that's not necessarily healthy) then that's what you eat, and you eat more if you "earn" extra calories through exercise. Hth.

I wanna know the funny one!
