I agree you should see a doctor before starting any exercise routine but in your case it sounds like you really need to. I was 240 and didn't have those kind of pains.... yes pains but not that kind. Walking is all I did in the beginning, just increasing the distance. Good luck.

I have twins from an IUD. At time of birth Doc said it fell out, but 2 years later showed up in X-ray for back issue. Had to have it removed. Was wandering around aimlessly. Birth control pills gave my DVT, blood clot, and I almost died. Weigh all your options, no one tells you all the possible consequences especially…

Amazing!! Great job!

Check You tube if you want free. They have lots of exercise videos.

Do searches on YouTube. Amazing what you can find there for free video. I know they have Kettlebell and even show how to make homemade ones. Spark People website also offers some on-line exercise plans. All for free.

I also love the one. Had Tracker to start but also got it wet and they sent a new One. I like seeing the info on the device. It is hidden and out of the way. The Flex is a bracelet I think and would be in the way for any washing or work I might do. Can't see the info. When out walking I can check to see if I have met my…

I re-adjust goals all the time... I did have it set for the 1200 cals and was staying well under that if you look at the net cals. Most of the time I eat about 1400 cals a day but my exercise has me netting between 800 - 1000. I have not lost any inches either. Most of the weight I have left is around the middle. Thanks…

Sorry, open now.

I LOVE using RunKeeper.. it works with MFP and my Fitbit . I can make routes, add friends, and do more than just run. My husband and I do it for walking. EVeryday!!

I actually like the Minute Maid light version better. Same 50 cals. I cut where I can as long as it still tastes good.
-
Someone else posted a link to www.theyummylife.com which has recipes for flavored water... looked pretty good and only water and fruit etc.

I have similar background. I have been losing the same 5 pounds over and over for a year now. First 50 was easy but then seems like nothing worked. Reality is I tend to have a day with overeating more than I should, gain back what I worked to lose. Logging everything and not taking the lowest numbers I can find in database…

These sound really good. Calories would be based on the fruit you use and how many servings you actually get. Much better for you than the artificial or chemicals you find in the products you can buy. Probably taste better too. Gotta try this. Thanks

Just finished mine.. have to go early gets to hot to do it later here in Scottsdale... cool 77 this morning.

amazing! great WORK!

I have lost 50 + and have some loose skin but I am over 60 and would probably have it anyway. I still look and feel better than I did with the extra weight. You look young and should be OK. Good luck!!

I have to have fried mushrooms with my steaks. Difference now is that I barely use any butter to do it compared to before I started watching my cals. Just a little bit of butter does wonders and I won't give it up. Just count it in and eat less of something else or move more. Some things are just not worth giving up. Good…

It is a very easy device to use. I prefer the clip on, don't have to worry about banging it or getting it wet etc. Can't see it either. My husband and I each have one and the only exercise we do is walking so Fitbit tracks all our steps, stairs, miles etc. It syncs with MFP and gives us credit for what we have done. Hope…

always another day... just hang in there... you can do it!!

If I know I am going to say a buffet at dinner I eat very small low cal breakfast and lunch to help out. Then I still try and eat in moderation. Still have to make sure I walk my 5 miles to help balance it out. Even with chinese buffet I try to eat more of the "non" deep fried foods. Get what may be a little bit lower in…

The One has a little screen that you can look at whenever you want and see just how many steps, stairs, etc. you have done so you know how many more to do. You can wear it clipped anywhere. The flex has some lights that it says show how you are doing but I prefer the numbers myself. If it was on my wrist it would be in the…

62 and this program has worked great for me.. still plugging along...

I have had PF too. I got good shoes but even better are the Insoles I found just for that. I got them from Lady Footlocker when I bought my first good shoes. I paid way too much from there. I found them on Amazon for about $20. They are called Spenco for Her, Total Support. They say PolySorb on them. They cured my problem.…

We started a weight loss group in my town.. they passed out the Mayo Clinic diet and the pyramid food plan has you eating more carbs too. I prefer more protein. Not sure if it works but I may try it.

My husband and I use the Fitbit one. Works great. Have not tried the Flex. For me I hook it to my bra strap. I think the only difference is where you wear it. If I had the wrist one it would abuse it a lot more, bumping into things, getting it wet.... Both will do the job. Good luck!!

A group is getting together once a week to discuss and work on weight loss. I hope some will use MFP to help get through it. I know I wouldn't have been able to do this without it. Good luck everyone!!

Most ingredients are listed in MFP and the "Recipe" section work great for that. I even did magic bars that had lots of ingredients in them. Anyway works great!

You can make them a meal using quick tool drop down after you have put them in. I do several that have 2 or 3 items so I can bring them in and then delete what I don't need. Easier than always looking for the ones I want.
