I think you may be lower than you think, yes. Let's consider that TDEE is made up of three main components - your BMR, your deliberate exercise calories and your normal day to day activities. And by the way, those day to day activities like walking around your office, getting your groceries, doing your dishes, those…

It sounds like your overall workout routine has been curtailed by your back injury and the last time you calculated your TDEE you were "strength training, and 3 days of intense cardio (boxing) and about 12 miles walking per week." If this has significantly changed now, you need to recalculate your TDEE to reflect your…

40 yrs old 5.5 and a half 145 lbs BMR - 1460 per Katch McArdle TDEE - 2270 per fat2fit moderate and confirmed by my BodyMedia at 2273 average CUT - ranges from 1850 to 2020 on average. Trying to get within 250 of my daily burn using BodyMedia to net a 1/2 pound a week loss. Current workout - 3x week ChaLEAN Extreme…

BodyMedia Fit and BodyBugg are essentially the same thing so yeah, there is an armband. And honestly....lol....I just got over it. My band is grey so it's not as noticable as the black, but seriously I just forget it. Most people don't even notice and those that do just ask what it is. Sometimes I get snarky and tell them…

I have ChaLEAN Extreme and I love it. You don't HAVE to go buy a bunch of equipment. In her video's, she shows herself and one other person using select-tec weights, which are adjustable dumbbells - two people using free weights of various sizes, generally three sets with 5 lb differences - and one person using the various…

It's working great for me doing it the way I stated. I just dropped another pound this morning. So BodyMedia users! Your BURN is your TDEE!!!! Run a report using 28 days to get a good average. (Some days you will burn more than others) Use that number as your TDEE then decide on a cut from that. It really is that simple. :)

Well I guess as you said in my thread you get it now but I thought I'd put this out there.... Your total burned for the day, the first number on the BM screen (24 hours) IS your TDEE because it includes your exercise, your everyday activity and your BMR. Having a BM is great because you don't have to calculate it. Just run…

:D Aww, you guys are all so great! It IS completely liberating because once I had that epiphany, it took all the pressure off my weekly weigh-ins. My expectations are reasonable now and I don't feel like my body is holding out on me. Now...I can just breathe, eat and work towards becoming fit and my body will do the rest…

LOL! Also searching these forums for "How do I find my TDEE" will net a massive list of....explanations on how to find your TDEE.

I'm still working up to that amount. Like I said, I'm kind of a beginner too. I started by upping my base goals to my BMR and met that plus my exercise. That was my first week. Then I creeped it up to 1600 ish...then I thought oh screw it just go for it and I started aiming for 1800, which was the first calculation I had…

I haven't remeasured yet. I'm doing that every 4 weeks for the workout hybrid I'm doing so I think I'm due for that next week. However, yes, my clothes are fitting looser. I'm actually afraid to try my wedding dress on now and I've only got 18 days left! HAHA! Also, I went out to buy a sundress to wear around after my…

I only recently started the Eat More to Weight Less method. About 3 weeks ago to be exact. So I have no hardcore results yet. When I ran my report I got 2270 as my TDEE and a 20% cut from that is about 1800. I plugged the numbers in to bodymedia and it actually suggested that for a half pound per week loss, I should just…

I have a BodyMedia Fit too and that's exactly what I did. I ran a 28 day report and used the calories burned as my TDEE. Then just subtracted from there.

Bump for when I'm not stuck at work!

I've started navigating these waters myself and about two weeks ago I bumped up my daily calories to my BMR (1460) and I endeavor to eat at 15-20% off my TDEE (2270). I have been trying to net my BMR on days I do heavy cardio. Now, my head has been scrambling all over the place trying to wrap around all the numbers and the…

Ok, just a quick observation based on the week or so I went back. You seem to be in the mindset that once you hit a macro, such as protein, you are done for the day. That's simply not true. Lot's of people actually manually adjust their macros to higher or lower levels, depending on their needs. Protein is a common one to…

I can't speak to Les Mills Pump but I have Chalene Extreme and I love it. It focuses on strength training and alternates that 3x a week with 3 days of cardio/flex training. The cardio in it wasn't really intense enough for me so I actually sub it out with TurboFire using ChaLean's TF/CE Hybrid schedule. Her sessions range…

Off your home tab go to settings, then go to diary settings. Scroll down and you will see where you can change it from private to public. Once you do that, people can give you meaningful advice.
-
You will need to open your diary for people to make an accurate assessment of what might help.

I officially changed my goal settings on April 11th. I dabbled a bit here and there beforehand before deciding to just commit. So it took my body just over two weeks to settle down. I'm still not sure exactly where it has settled lol. That still remains to be seen. I didn't have any weight change this morning, but I had a…

Huh...yeah now that you mention it. I've been doing all kinds of nervous energy things today and yesterday. The foot jiggle, the walking around the office because I cannot sit still in my chair, heck I'm wiggling my butt as I type this. I didn't realize that was anything at all. My body has felt so fatigued for so long,…

He did two programs back to back. Power 90 and P90X. Not sure if you saw that.
