Today is day 12 of really being focused and working out/eating well. Is that considered a beginner? And when am I no longer a beginner? When I hit a plateau?

My next question, should I be taking a day(s) off from the gym? I have been doing an hour and a half to two hours whenever I can get it done (sometimes daily, sometimes every other day) and have been burning on average 1000-1200 calories with each workout. Should I be taking time off a couple times a week?

I'm 5'7'' and 214. I lost 4lbs this last week and would like to lose at least 76 more pounds. If I reach that goal I might attend my class reunion next summer! We'll see...

I do the shopping in our house 99.99% of the time. The .01% of the time that he's allowed to go he comes home with chips. At one point in our relationship, he told me chips were veggies (potatoes). I have gained and lost my motivation so many times it isn't even funny. I tried a 4 Day Pretox a coworker of mine recommended, lost 6.2lbs and my motivation is BACK!!!! One day at a time.
