Thanks for sharing your inspiring story. I am 37 lbs away from reaching the 100lb lost mark. Your story has reminded me that anything is possible.

Before I start I want to say I loved your post and all the replies. So inspiring. Onederland to me means many things. First, It means 100 lbs lost. I have a goal to reach that by October 1. I have lost 63.4 lbs so far. When I reach this "onderland" goal I will be in Hawaii. I will be at 300 lbs, a number I haven't seen in…

I think taking measurements is a good idea like the others posted. I started seeing more success when I measured my food. I would try those for a couple of weeks and see if you notice any changes.

This is the best success story I have read in a long time. Way to go.!

Thanks for sharing. I only have 41 lbs until I am there. You give me hope that I can do it too. Thanks for sharing your success.

My diabetes diagnosis on January 26, 2013 is what finally scared me enough to make a change. When I started I weighed 402.6 lbs I could barely walk from my bedroom to the kitchen (about 5 or 6 steps) without being winded and in need of chair to sit down and rest. For the first two weeks I watched my portion sizes and added…

I read a book by Bob Harper called "Are you Ready?". He has some excercises that you can go through were it helps you change your relationship with food. It helped to learn and practice not eating when I am bored, stressed, happy or for any reason except to fuel my body. I highly recommended it. I have been doing this for…

Amazing story. I am going to share this with my husband to show him that he can do this as well. Thanks for sharing.

You are going to love this site. It has certainly helped me to be accountable and keep going. The first step is the hardest but it's a step in the right direction. Good luck today.

Amazing! You're an inspiration to me. I still have a lot to go but I see with hard work and eating right it can be done. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone.

Your story is so inspiring. It gives people like me that have over 200 more lbs to go know that it is possible to get down to their goal weight and maintain it. I agree it's 70% diet and 30% excercise. I wish I could figure out how to elimnate more of the sodium from my diet too. I want to get off my blood pressure…

That is great! Keep up the good work. You will be at your goal weight before you know it.

I have been overweight since I was a young girl. I got made fun of by the other kids and my childhood was hard. I wish my parents had taken an active role in my health like you are doing for your daughter. I wish I would have went to a therapist who could have helped me deal with my feelings instead of using food as a…

Best: After 66 days of changing my lifestyle my doctor told me that I was no longer diabetic. She told me how proud she was of me. This was one of my first goals. It felt good to reach it. My husband saying: You're an inspiration to me. I want to change too. (This was amazing to me) Worst: After losing 40 lbs a woman from…

Your legs are not giving in, your head is giving up. Keep going! I repeat this in my mind everytime I think I can't take another step. Log everything. I signed up for a 5K race and that kept me committed to excercising every day. I have signed up for another on April 20th. It's been 67 days since I started this lifestyle…

I received a letter from doctor on January 23rd, 2013 that said you have diabetes. It scared me so bad. I am moridbly obese and so all I could the first two weeks was cut my portion sizes, eat more vegetables and do chair excercises. It's been 48 days since I began changing my life. I have lost 26.8 lbs. I walked 3 miles…

I want this to work for the rest of my life so this is what has worked for me. I have a sweet treat on saturday night and sunday if I want it. I make sure that I only have a serving size and I have been able to not go into binge eating. I eat foods that many would consider "not clean" or "100% healthy" but I eat one…

It's my second time around too. I gained everything I lost and then some. I have a long way to go but I am working on changing my relationship to food and only eating to fuel my body instead of eating as a reward, or when I am sad, lonely, bored, etc. The difference this time is I have people tha I am accountable too. I…

Go to a thrift store in your area. Sometimes you can find quality clothes there. Congrats. What a great feeling. I have some shirts that are looking that way too. Keep it up.
