Ohh I love chinese food! Go for things like steamed white rice and veggies - or chicken and broccolli - ask for sauces on the side, etc.. Maybe shrimp! Find a way to keep your rules but participate as well.

For me - "weight loss" has never been about the exercise, (the lifting, the toning, cardio, running, etc.) I do ALL of that - and firmly believe that what helped the LOSS was the calorie deficit! All of the exercise is great as well - but calorie deficit is for weight LOSS.

Avoid the chips! I always do fajitas (chicken or beef) and skip out on the torillas. I eat the meat, and veggies - go lightly on cheese, sour cream, guac......

I am 5 foot 2 and when I dropped my calories down to 1200 I stopped losing - I upped them back to 1350 and voila - weigh slowly but surely coming off again...............very slowly............

I think it depends on what "program" you are following. If you are counting calories - then YES - COUNT ALL CALORIES. If you are doing WW Points - then follow that. I have done both - and I must say - I am convinced I enjoy calorie counting the most :flowerforyou:
