Ugh. Been there. In between jr high and high school was really rough for me. Definitely document everything. In the meantime, YOU CAN DO THIS.I agree with suppakana - if they come up with anything else, give them a big ole smile, and say, something to the effect of, "Has anyone ever told you how NICE you are?" How could…

O Hay there, fellow Glass City gal! :drinker: OP: AMAZING results!

With that activity level, I doubt you're "Lightly" active. To remove the pooch, you can't spot reduce. You'll need to check your 'diet' (meaning food, not 'you're on a diet') and incorporate strength training. See this awesome group on how to get your Macros in check.…

1) I want to set myself up for a healthy life 2) I like the "o_O" looks I get when I swing a heavy kettlebell or goblet squat with a big old dumbbell at the gym 3) I like feeling/being strong. 4) It gives me confidence 5) It's giving me my sexyback.

Definitely work with your Primary Care Physician. Self diagnosis can be an expensive and time consuming thing.Trust me, been there done that on several occasions. I'm an IBS-C person. If you're on MFP, make sure you're logging your food and make notes on how you feel day-to-day. Print your diary out and take it to your…

Yup, weigh everything. I was surprised when I finally weighed my protein powder a few months ago. I was using LESS than I realized. So now I'm pre-weighing and storing it in small tubs for easy use. I also use the TDEE-20%, and it's great!

^^ What they said :drinker: If anything - for me - exercise helps keep the bugs away. However being stressed makes it easier to come down with 'em. Stress also doesn't help much with weight loss. Attend to the stress and cold, then worry about the numbers. Trust me, I am JUST now getting over a cold that started a little…
-
Hm. Not quite sure. What are you doing to lessen your cold? I recently started nasal irrigation and it seems to be helping. Definitely try to start reducing the stress. Sounds pretty hard to do if your life is hectic, but find some time to be alone to breathe!! If you feel fit to work out, do so. If you're not losing, you…

Try finding something similar on MFP that's a chain to get a rough estimate. That's what I do. I think you're a bit under calorie wise.

^^ This.

I laughed a little too hard at that. I *like* it but I find it too sweet, so a little goes a long way if I ever have it. So you can definitely have the remainder of the jar if I ever buy one. :flowerforyou:

Hooray for starting your journey into fitness! I suggest joining this group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/7965-in-place-of-a-road-map Also, we cannot "spot reduce" as much as we try. Trust me, my belly is always the last to go. Follow the group above, weigh and measure your food, hit your macros, sleep, pick…

Random Person: "You look great! What have you been doing?" Me: "Lifting weights." RP: "Aw. :( I thought you were trying ______________ diet."

Hah! This. I hate being on a machine, so I tried a few classes at the gym. I love my TurboFit/Cardio Kickboxing class, and I've made a few buddies to boot.

Yup. I'm not too far off height wise. Don't go the fast route. Slow and steady. I suggest this link/group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/974888-in-place-of-a-road-map-2k13 Incorporate strength/resistance training, eat at a deficit and stay active. But also consult with the Dr 'cause you need to do it the right…

Don't waste the Unicorn horn!! I need that for my next wand before I return to Hogwarts!!

Gotta go with Trog. The hair falling out is rather concerning and should be a major Red Alert. But to add: if you are experiencing digestive issues, instead of a full out liquid diet, why not try eating smaller more proportioned meals? I also have digestive issues. My doctor and a specialist recommended that I up my fiber…

When I pre-log, I'm definitely more on track with my macros. It also makes me think more about what I'm eating or what I'd like to eat. Just a moment ago I decided to stick with my pre-logged game plan. Maybe that magical baklava that appeared at my desk will get smashed on the morrow.

Please. Do. This. There was a lot of very good advice given. I hope you seriously consider seeking help, not "if" you go back to your old habits. Prevention like one of the other awesome posters stated. You've identified the problem. Now it's time to address it.

^^This this this this. I basically said the same thing to a friend a few weeks ago. Brava.

^^This I hope all is well. I have a friend who has a risk of going into Anaphylaxis if she has too much gluten, so she makes a point to research and ask. If you have a medical condition that worsens with certain foods, it's up to you to advocate for yourself. Good luck.

This. I need to have some sort of snackie cake about an hour or so before I work out. If not, I get dizzy.

But, but... sugar is the enemy and you should always eat clean and Dr Oz keytones...
