I could definitely use some vegetarian & vegan friends! I've been vegetarian for three years but occasionally supplement my diet with fish. I dabble in veganism but can't really bring myself to commit since I'll eat eggs and dairy every now and then. Feel free to add me!

I've had my fitbit for almost three weeks now and really just wanted to make sure I wasn't accidentally double-logging my activities. Thanks for the clarification!

I'm logging in all my cardio activity and letting fitbit make the adjustment. On lighter days I don't get the additional fitbit calories and on heavier days I do.

Sorry, I guess I didn't explain it well enough. I burned 721 calories today between my time at the gym & walking my dog. On top of that, fitbit has given me an additional 555 calories for a grand total of 1269 calories burned today. I'm just thinking that it sounds excessive, even for all the work I've been putting in and…

I try to stay away from dairy, so whenever I go to Starbucks I substitute soy milk for regular milk. Less calories and you're also getting protein from the soy milk. Try a hazelnut soy latte, its yummy and nutty.

Agave syrup is made from agave cactus and is lower on the glycemic index than other sugars. I know several diabetics who use it. The best part is, agave doesn't really taste any different than honey  Also, if you're feeling adventurous there's brown rice syrup.

I have always been told that in order to lose weight successfully, you need to expend more calories than you take in. So tell me again why I should be eating my exercise calories? I don't, and it seems to be working out well for me.

Whenever I'm in the mood for something sweet, or feeling like I need a snack, I have some gum

I weigh myself Monday mornings, right after I wake up. I go to the bathroom first and make sure to lose all my clothes....I also get on the scale three separate times to make sure that its right

Are you sure you're sick, or is it your cleanse? Keep in mind that a detox cleanse can sometimes mimic the unpleasant symptoms of an intestinal virus.

I have stopped taking birth control several times and have never noticed a difference
