  • I too use ground turkey in place of all ground beef. It's gotta be lean though, 93/7 at least or your eating skin and fat anyway. Skinnytaste.com has lots of goods recipes: http://www.skinnytaste.com/search?q=ground+turkey They have a recipe for mini turkey meatloafs that are great.
  • Now that I think about it I bake at 425 not 450. I also just got a food steamer. I lined the tray with lemon slices, placed the salmon on them and ground black pepper on top. 14 minutes later I had fantastic salmon. Loving the steamer, using the heck out of it. It's the best thing I've bought in months.
  • Try just a very thin layer of mayo (like Hellmans made with canola oil) sprinkle on some dried dill. Bake it at 450 for about 15-18 minutes. Or a thin layer of dijon mustard. You could drizzle with lemon juice and some ground black pepper. Or when it's almost done brush some honey over it. All yummy. I love salmon, the…
  • I started at 198 pounds 14 weeks ago and I've lost 29 pounds at roughly the same calorie intake without exercising nearly as much as you do. And the past 2 weeks I've put my calories up to lose slower (I'm almost at my goal). Funny thing is on weeks here and there when I'd give myself a day or two of higher calories I'd…
  • I love the Recipe tab! I've added 7 recipes in my first month! I just wish I knew how to share them.
  • I'm open. I do the cooking in the house for myself, my wife and 20 year old son. They don't always eat what I eat, although I try to get them to, so I end up cooking 1.5 meals at a time! I'm still at a 1360 goal for a few more pounds so it may be a little boring, but I do eat 5 times a day. Heck I'm eating as bowl of…
  • 20 lbs. An automobile tire. And my stomach tire. 2/3 of the way to my goal.
  • Very cute Bethany - 8. I'm in the middle. I'm not my 21 year old son to my right, ah but back in the day :glasses:
  • Sorry, Customer Service Manager. Hands on though, so it's not all sitting down.
  • Mostly desk job. I'm a CSM for a print and marketing company. And I get to drive 45 minutes each way. That's a lot of time on my butt.
  • I seem to give myself either Friday or Saturday evening to "cheat". I try to bank some calories during the day with smaller meals and I can stay within a reasonable range of my calorie target. It's generally the sodium that suffers for me because, schwoo, pizza and cheesesteaks are sodium city, so I'm sure to increase my…
  • I eat 3 meals, an afternoon snack, and an evening snack. Usually set times. Breakfast about 10AM, lunch at noon, snack at 3PM, dinner at 7PM, and top it off with cheerios and soy milk in the evening. The set times and intervals keep me from getting hungry, before I get hungry and impulse eat.
