I toyed with idea of getting rid of the sugar tracking category as it is worthless. But I keep it around to help educate myself where sugar is hiding in food. I have a treat now and then but most of mine is from fresh and dried fruit, carrots, yogurt, brown sugar in my oatmeal, etc.

At first blush I am sad because I really like Trader Joe's food. ( ha ha) But good for you...you know that you can eat well to keep your brain fueled without eating cr@p. The worms will love the puffs, pretzels and crackers. And you will love yourself for not going there. I also smell a little friend diet sabotage....just…

Yeah, I did this with a college roommate of mine...in 1986. You lose weight but within days after you gain a few pounds back. It goes against everything this site teaches about long term better choices for health, persistence.

You can totally see a difference! I just got to Onederland myself a couple of weeks ago. You'll be there in no time!

Well done! You'll be happy you learned all of this early on in life. It takes others (me!) decades to get it right.

I used to eat a Costco hotdog (570) and a churro (410) for lunch when I went shopping there. 950 calories! Just for lunch....no wonder I am on MFP now. And Costco cupcakes are 760 calories!

I have had great success for the first sixty days of MFP - 22 pounds gone. The next 15 pounds will be emotionally tough for me. The exciting newness factor is gone, and my milestones and halfway goals are in mid April. Nothing but hard work in March. I plan to keep myself plenty busy, start a bunch of projects, read a book…

I'm just finishing my second Aunt Flo MFP visit. I do the salt and chocolate thing too. I ate lots of 100 calorie bags of popcorn to tame the salt cravings and had pizza and a chocolate cupcake at my son's birthday party last night. It's all within the calorie range so it's all good. The worst part for me is the bloat that…

We are all human and have bad days. You just have get back on track the next day. I put together a list of things to do if I am having a bad diet day. Call a good friend, watch a favorite movie, work on a project...whatever it takes to keep your mind off food.
