I agree, sometimes I take two rest days in a row just so my muscles are in top condition when I resume. I work out for about 3-5days in a row and then a 2 day break.

Done! This one really was a challenge.

I do leg lifts with the fitness ball. Placing the fitness ball on my hip as I lean towards the wall, balancing on one leg and lifting the other leg up and straight. Will try to do as much of this as I can.

I finished! 110 (because I miscounted at 50). I am only starting out with upper body strengthening so I only did wall push ups, but I made it as hard as possible by going slow and getting a good form. Will work on getting stronger. Knee push ups next week and work my way towards full body push ups!

I haven't lost a lot of weight, but I plan on wearing a weighted vest to keep working out when I do lose more weight. Something about tricking your body to think you're still weighing more but actually aren't.

This challenge will be extremely hard for me, but I'll try to do as much as I can. Will have to break it up throughout the day.
-
I ended up only doing 80 on each side.

I love tofu, plain, and by itself. So delicious! I could eat a block of it and still want more lol

Yay for the app! Adding it to my routine today. I usually just sprint for as long as I can and then walk for a bit and then repeat. This will be helpful to actually time it.

Mine's not for the end of the week but a few more days after that... the end of the month. I want to lose 3lbs so I can make it to 10lbs lost this month!

Remember that it's the turtle that wins the race. 2-3lbs lost already is an amazing feat! Your body is still adjusting to the new routine but it'll get better. It also depends on your body and how much weight you have to lose. Someone who's 300lbs might be able to lose 4-5lbs compared to someone who's 170lbs and can only…

I chose my goal weight based on old photos of myself, what I felt I looked healthy at, and what I was able to maintain for a long period of time. My lowest weight was 120lbs, but I looked super unhealthy (even though I wasn't). I was able to maintain at 140lbs for years but felt pudgy. So I compromised and went in the…

I'm going to try and do 160 on each leg. BTW I'm loving these daily mini challenges.
-
My arms burn! I finished all 75 though!
-
My current goal is to get to my goal weight. My goal after that will be to maintain it. I'm really aiming for a lifestyle change, so I would like to hope that 10 years from now I'll still be maintaining my weight and not undoing all the hard work.

For me it's mostly boredom and stress. I also cook for my family a lot and it's so hard not sneaking in bites while smelling the deliciousness. It doesn't happen when I cook for myself, only when I cook for the family.

My arms are the weakest part of my body but I will try to get in as many as I can.
-
I did them too. My form for the crunches weren't awesome though.
-
If I mess up, I work out on one of the two days I'm scheduled to not work out. I don't worry about every day, rather I focus on making my weekly goals.
-
You're on! I haven't been doing these lately.
-
I would like to reach my goal weight by my birthday, which is near the end of the year.

Maybe it's what you're running on. My knees were killing me from jogging on the sidewalk. I switched to jogging on a softer bark trail and it's helped with the pain. When the weather's bad I pull out a nice rug and jog in place in the garage.

I live off campus and would take the train/bus to a certain stop and spend 15mins or so walking to campus/class. I would also take the stairs instead of the elevators. So walking to and from class would be 30mins + how every many flights of stairs I needed to take. I didn't mind huffing and puffing to class, but if you do…

You are not alone. My family thinks the same thing. I am doing it for myself whether they think it's a fad or not. I'm not going to let them detour me from my goal. You've already done a great job on your journey. 23lbs is a great accomplishment!

You're doing so great already. Think of the positive aspects in your life to help cheer you up. I too am an emotional/bored eater. I used to eat when I was bored, or when I'm angry/frustrated. What I do now when I am emotional is eat an orange or a fruit because the sweetness makes me happier. I listen to music that gets…

I always grew up with the saying "if it's green, eat it" and so I do!

I'm Asian and I always have rice with my food. I just eat less of it now and load up on veggies. I will never give up pasta or rice, but I will eat less of it. So far it's working for me.

These are awesome ideas guys! Had this large packet of corn tortillas and was confused on what to do with them but now I want to make everything listed here.

I'm not entirely agreeing, but there are some areas we can cut our costs. Instead of buying fresh produce all the time, plant some of the ones you use regularly (lettuce, baby spinich, tomatos, mustard greens, green onions, chives, parsley, basil). Buying bulk meat and portioning and freezing them saves a lot of money too.…

Keep fruits and bite size veggies handy? I am usually up at night and don't like to cook when everyone's asleep so I usually grab a carrot stick or banana and drink a cup of water to hold me til breakfast.
