  • Not Much ?!? On this journey that we are all on, that is HUGE!!! Great Job And NEVER discredit any success no matter how small it may seem :flowerforyou: :drinker: fyi no beer in those cups
  • around where i live they are called bingo wings! just picture all the older women at bingo raising their arms above their heads and yelling BINGO. I myself have a long way to go before I can consider them tightened enough that they don't flap anymore but they have improved. good luck to you in your quest to prove hubby…
  • congratulations!!!! i suggest before the month has passed you better start looking for another store to shop at. i can't wait until that happens to me congratulations to you again

  • i'm glad that you can admit that you are human and stumble every once in a while. don't worry about it, that little bit of chocolate will not make you gain all that weight that you lost so far. if it makes you feel any better i've pretty much been on a plateau for the last 3 months only losing MAYBE a pound a month! not…
  • I had knee issues as well, still do if I don't look after them! I started going to physio and found out a lot of info and a lot of muscles that I underused. Unsure of your issue but my IT band and surrounding muscles were pulling my knee cap out of place which made it feel like I was being stabbed especially trying to go…
  • WELCOME !!!! Take it ONE pound at a time. Break everything into mini-goals. The larger the goal the more intimidating , so break them down to where they don't feel as daunting and they are achievable. That works for me. I still have a ways to go but I got to where I am by thinking "one more pound- that's all I want. Good…
  • My dreams?? That is a very loaded question!!! Here is jusst a few; To finally be body-wise where I go "Damn' I look Hot" To be more financially secure To find a career that makes me smile inside each day I go to work To enjoy my youngest daughter's childhood. I worked 6 days a week during my oldest's and feel I've missed…
  • May not seem like much ??? Holy Crap! You look amazing. Your definition is inspiring.
  • Congratulations !!!:drinker: !!! You look amazing. I wasn't smart enough to take a before pic the closest I have is my driver's license pic that I had done last year. That is definitely bad enough I look like a giant PUFFBALL. Maybe when I reach goal I'll renew my license earlier than needed.
  • Let's just change your title from "try" to "will" Remember too that you are now on a life-long journey to become nd stay healthy. You aren't on here to "try" to lose weight you are on here "to" lose weight. You have to learn how to change your attitude about this journey into a "can-do" attitude !!! Yes you will have down…
  • that's wonderful and hats off to the guy who acknowledged your success. i think that is hard for a lot of guys to do
in My NSV! :o) Comment by j77r68 June 2012
  • NSV stands for Non Scale Victory All those little victories that help boost you along the way i.e. tightening a belt notch, able to jog 5 minutes straight, etc.... it is very individual but very similar at the same time. Good Luck with everyone's own NSV's:drinker:
  • i have no idea how that is too much info but whatev. for me that is a big nsv- to lose the fat and stop wearing out my clothing on the inner thigh area. great job
  • with the way you are posing you can't tell me that you don't see the new slimmer, sexier you?!?! Great Work. Keep at it and make sure you update later on
  • to be honest i think everyone on this journey should go for some form of counselling. We all got here mostly b/c of issues that weren't being dealt with other than us eating our way to numbness etc.... BTW great work thus far you have definitely set yourself up for success. Congratulations One pound at a time will get us…
  • the smallest things that seem sooooo huge to us like thigh rubbing !! I never even thought that is definitely going to be a future nsv that WILL happens. Great Job by the way with your successes !!
  • girly-girls bother me too i'm the polar opposite i want to 'bulk' up until i don't even have to flex for me to see well defined muscles. I think they will look sexy. Right now i have to flex really hard to see some toning but it's a start b/c there is still a lot of flab to get rid of first.
  • I am in the exact situation as you. I can go down 3-4 lbs but by my official weigh-in day it's either at my previous weigh-in weight or maybe a few ounces less. I watch my weight every morning fluctuate those lost pounds but be up again by the next week. And the cruelest thing is it shows a big loss the morning after I do…
  • I am 5'10 and a bit with a large frame. I started MFP at 259lbs and I am at 216lbs right now and wanting to get down to 170lbs. My lowest was 163lbs after high school and that was too low for me ! When I layed down all I seen were these gawdy hip bones sticking out. Not the most attractive thing I can think of.lol It has…
  • Same here. I was a little bit bigger a 40G and after 40lbs gone I'm a full 38DDD. I would be quite happy with a 36 or 38 C or D. Time even before kids has not been kind to me . I'm sure after 2 or 3 years of getting a chest the perkiness went away. I would hopefully like to only wait 1 year, get a referral and give them a…
  • i'm a 34 year old mother of two 14 yr olds and a 1 yr old. my eldest daughter especially dislikes and can't believe that her mother listens to dubstep ! i'm sure if her friends knew she would get quite embarrased. which i don't know why !?! i think if i had a mother thaat listened to dubstep, hiphop, (some) rap, all sorts…
  • great comparison shot !! congratulations you look much happier and your son looks much more relaxed now that he has grade 1 under his belt.
  • I didn't see your topic last week otherwise I definitely would have replied. I haven't really seen anyone else with this issue so i definitely can't wait to see if you get replies from successors. Because I feel even when I finish losing all my weight that I will still have to wear sucker-upper (shapewear) to tame it some.
  • there are many ways i would like to respond to this but this is it..... every individual (meaning being on here for themselves and noone else) is here for different reasons and really shouldn't have to explain why they are on here. yes some do not know what they are doing and are still looking for a quick fix but a lot of…
  • WAY TO GO. what a great start to your journey.especially the fact that you realized you may not always see scale or major changes but you gain in other areas. as you did in your strength and your ability to do new things which I'm sure will make you excel quicker when you try other things
  • Congratulations!!! on an amzing job so far and reitterating to all of us that we can't wait for someone else to "fix" our weight problems. we are the ONLY ones who can make that change. It may be hard as h@ll and suck a fair amount but in the end that what makes this journey so pleasurable. You are the only one who created…
  • sorry but that is hilarious. you lost all your baggage weightand however much your ex weighed all in one fell swoop. good job. let him be her problem. it's great when they walk themselves out the door
  • if this was one of my previous attempts to lose weight and money than i probably would've been first in line. but this my final lifetime journey to lose weight and get healthy i am doing it the right way with food, exercise, sweat and blood. (only if i lose grip and fall flat on the pavement) lol which i almost did at…
  • this is a one day at a time type of thing. for me sometimes an hourly type of thing. i'm really good at the self sabotage thing and i'm working hard at trying to not be good at it. i really, really have to think at how far i've come on MY own and it would be really stupid to throw that all away. just keep plugging away, i…
  • if you start restricting your faves you are more likely to fall off the 'get healthy' wagon. if you have cravings look for close alternatives. i.e. chocolate- in Canada they have 8 packs of different chocolates my faves are york patties at 70cals and coffee crisp at 100cals. you have xxxx amount of cals per day work them…
