OP, if you want some support feel free to add me, I know how frustrating it can be and sometimes you just need some good motivation to get you though it

The first couple of weeks everyone tends to drop a large amount, then after that it settles down to whatever you've set your taget loss at usually. It's a bit depressing when you stop having the massive losses, but it's more sustainable and totally worth it

You are awesome. Great loss, also loved watching the tache grow through the pictures! By the way, I never normally find mens successes inspiring. I'm impressed, but can't seem to apply it to myself. You've shown that I will (hopefully) still have my sense of humour at the end of this, and I think that's pretty inspiring,…

If I had the skills to do it in the most humane way possible, then yes, I totally would. It really annoys me when people get freaked out that the meat they're eating was once an animal, I think it shows a lack of respect for the food. I will say this, that pig in the pictures is so cute. Couldn't eat an animal that was…

Try the Gorilla workout app for body weight exercises. I swear I'm not being paid to advertise it, I just really like it haha

I plan a treat into my calories and macros every day, just something little like a few squares of good chocolate. Means I know I've got a treat coming so I don't get too frustrated! I make it into a proper treat, reading a book in a hot bath and eating chocolate feels like I'm having a proper relax and good stuff

You are my new hero. But seriously, this topic wasn't about animal welfare, it was about the nutrition. I'm pretty everyone understands the process of milk being produced. I have no constructive info on the nutrition, but it's something I've been wondering about so... BUMP!

This was my thought too!

If my finace offered to buy me clothes, I'd be all over it! Sounds to me like he wants to show you off  If you're not comfortable with your stomach, you could try a 50's style high waisted bikini? With a halterneck top, it'll draw attention to your waist instead of your stomach, and you can get ones with control…

Congrats! Even though I've set my scale to pounds I still think in stones haha

Must of misread it, it just didn't seem very supportive. I don't always drink to get drunk, I was presuming OP might just want to have a few
-
God, I look like some sort of expert now on drinking but had to reply to this one... It depends what you drink, making lower calorie choices is possible, just like with anything. Beer or wine, not such a great choice caloriewise, spirits with low calorie mixers are a much better choice. If you're going to drink cocktails,…

Vodka diet coke is about 50 cals a go, so is vodka lime soda. Hope that helps! I'm from Newcastle, so I have to know these things, we are also big drinkeres! Edit: Don't try low calorie wine. Ever. Makes me do a little vomit in my mouth, it's rank. And UK shots are 25ml usually, so smaller than US, hence why in America a…

I use the Gorilla Workout app at the moment, it's all body weight based so you don't need any equipment, it's 20 days of it and I'd recommend it as a start

You're still trying to lose according to your info even though you're underweight, maybe she's trying to get you to up your calories gradually from something low (I'm not sure how much you're eating at the moment) to get you to a safe amount for you eventually. Also, do you have any other health issues? Because that could…

If I did that I think I would cry from the pain... however, he must be a happy man!

I use a Freya one at the moment, it's actually pretty good. I have a major uniboob, but I'm somewhere between an F and a G (depends on the brand) so I don't mind so long as I'm not in agony and don't give myself a black eye. The annoying thing is that the more weight I've lost, the less it fits, so now I need to spend…

I work as a nurse with people with learning disabilities. I have been asked if I'm pregnant at work multiple times, and was once told I was too fat to be a Disney Princess by a patient. It doesn't happen now because all my patients know me, and know that I'm not, because they've already asked! It's so depressing, but I…

What you need to do it take her clothes, and stitch bits of prawn into all the hems. She'll stink with them on, but she won't when she's naked. It's winwin: You get more naked wife, men are put off. And put loads of bleach in her shampoo so her hair goes white.

It really wasn't, I just really appreciate people being nice about things! I'm motivated by them too, they're not the ones I'm referring to, it's the ones who have been on here for a couple of days and once read something in a magazine about calories, and thinks they're a pro haha. Edit: also, the people who are the…

Thank you for putting this in such a respectful and nice way! I'm on 1200 due to medical advice, and advice from people qualified in the right field, so I do have a reason for it. However, like I said above, I don't often mention it on the boards because people get really aggressive and say that they know more than…

I've seen her picture when you've posted it before, and my god does she look good! I'm just going to have to man up and get on with it I think! I might ask around the trainers at the gym for their opinion on free weights for women, see which ones are actually helpful, then book some sessions with them!

I know this sounds really silly... but I don't know if I'm brave enough to start on New Rules, everyone who does it seems to have slamming bodies, and I'm pretty far from that.... but I suppose doing it is the only way to get there! I can totally do this, I refuse to be the girl scared of the weights and who only uses…

For February I'm doing the Gorilla Workout app every day (well, for 20 days) and doing at least 4 hours of cardio a week... I'm determined to get the scale moving again, it's just been stalled for 2 weeks nearly. I've lost inches, but not weight, and I need to be losing both.

I'm a nurse, there's been a few times I haven't had one until 6pm. If something goes wrong then I can't just leave the ward, and I also can't eat on the ward! Edit: there was also that infamous time I didn't get a break at all. For 12 hours straight (well, 12 and a half actually). I love my job, but it's a nightmare at…

Fair enough then, I used to think all feminists were hairy and butch til someone explained it to me, so I know where you're coming from! I think I've been lucky, I have good female role models in my group of friends, some of whom identify as feminists, so I don't see much of the criticism of everyone.
-
I sometimes don't get a break until 4:30pm, so I wouldn't get a chance to eat til then, which is what makes me want to make sure I eat. Thank you though!
-
Ok, so this is what I mean. I'm a feminist, I don't think she's setting anything back, If that's what works for her, so long as she has the opportunity to chose if that's her role, then good on her for doing what works for them as a couple. From reading this, I think people are meeting a lot of man hating and kind of mean…
-
I read your entire original post. I just think what you were saying was quite misinformed, and as I said that is not what feminism is about, and if people are using that as an argument to back up stating that they shouldn't do anything, and men should wait on them, then they are also either misinformed or just manipulating…
