  • I actually bought the BL for 19.99 for the Kinect. I had a body scan done and this weekend will try my first workout. From what I have seen I think it will be really good :0)
  • I would get on my scale everyday. I have been trying really hard now to go two weeks. So far so good :0)
  • I had to get a heart rate monitor. I found out that using the calories burned on here is not as accurate as the HRM. I know some people can not afford them I just waited for a great deal and broke down.

  • I mesured before doing the 30 Day Shred. After I completed I measured again and saw a loss :0) Don't know if it helps but it's a start. I wish I had measured from the begining of my journey. After over 85 pds lost I know many inchs were :0) Best of luck to you!

  • I just completed the 30 DS :0) I have 2, 5, 8, and 12 pd weights. Start out with a lighter on and go from there :0) I was so used to using heavier weights when at the gym. Now that I workout at home I find I need several different weights. Best of luck to you!
  • 30 Day Shred really is a good one. I am almost at the end so it does not come off as fast for me. For someone just starting out this is a great DVD to use. I saw results when I measured and am so happy. Even not huge numbers it still is a loss.
  • A lot of people do not pay attention to how they do lunges. And if not done right it can really cause some pain in the knees. Start out easy and ease your way into it. Modify when needed at first until you feel comfortable :0)
  • I use 3, 5, 8 and sometimes a 10. The 10 I use for the overhead press though.
  • I am with you :) I have a hard time eating calories that you earn when workout. I actually do not use them everyday. I hate that people think because one is overweight they are junk food junkies that hide in closet and stuff their faces with crap. I finished my dinner and still had over 600 in calories.   • We all have had them days. Shake it off and keep your head up. This is not easy and takes a lot of strength and encouragement. Go for a few little extra walkls today :0) And tomorrow is a new day!
  • I never measured when I first started working out yrs ago. Wish I had :( then about 2 yrs ago a trainer measured me. Now that I have started the shred I did meansure to see if I can see results. I have pics of me heavier on here and a few at my weight now. I wish the best of luck...you go girl :0)
