I think when I crave sugar at night it's because I'm low on energy so I'll eat something carb-like. Like cinnamon honey flavoured rice crackers.

It's embarrassing but I put on my iPod and pretend I'm singing karaoke or am part of an amazing band. I'm such a great musician in my mind!!! I'll stop being a loser now! I read on Chocolate Covered Katie's blog that she turns the neighbourhood into castles etc. haha I tried doing that today but I ended up on stage again..

Bump! Come on there must be a chef on here :p

I'm 5"2 and if I eat around 1,400 (my maintenance) I actually GAIN! I don't know if I'm logging wrong, but history doesn't lie. I do, however, eat more than 1,200 a day because I go for a 45 minute run almost every day so it gives me a good 1550 in total :)

Muscle helps your metabolism increase also, and seeing as though it looks slimmer than fat, I'd rather have muscle.

Cinnamon and Oregano!

I'm 5"2 and my original goal weight was 99lb but I found I am happiest at around 90-92lb

This is an interesting thought, and very true. How great do you feel after an entire day of clean eating? And how crap do you feel a day after eating out? I kind of have a hidden hippie in me somewhere too, so I feel what you and your aunty are saying! I'm bumping so other people can read as well.

Wait till you try her healthy raw cookie dough :D

Thanks, I really appreciate your support! :flowerforyou: For some strange reason I've always been skeptical about chewing gum, but it actually works as a great distraction so I really recommend chewing some while cooking/tempted to binge! Sometimes you just need to chew something. Unfortunately I have to walk through the…

http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/06/09/blueberry-pie-pancakes/ I haven't tried those pancakes, but all her others are delicious and around 200-300 cal for the entire batch!

I don't know if you've read 'The Edible Woman' by Margaret Atwood but it's a great novel.

I agree. MFP told me 1440 is what I should be at, but if I eat that much I actually gain. I think it's more like 1300! I work out so I can eat more, it sucks but it's reality for me unfortunately!

I agree, I've had people I barely know label me as 'anorexic' because I'm thin, even though I eat a healthy, nutritious diet. People will judge you, but because I am comfortable with myself I can laugh those people off.

And you look 10 years younger! Well done! Not many people take a nice passport photo like that either, so double NSV!

When I'm in situations like that, I'd take a snack so you're not hungry, fill up a plate of food (mostly salad), eat that and place a small portion of everything else. Cut it up to make it look like you ate it and tell them you loved it, it was so filling but your stuffed! I know it's your body etc. but it's also your…

I love frozen grapes, I have about 10 bags of 30 grapes each in my deep fridge. They're horrible when they have seeds and are frozen though. If you cut me open, I'd be made of frozen grapes. I am a frozen grape addict.

Eat foods high in protein? Lean meat will get you heaps of calories. Also, boiled eggs, cottage cheese etc.

http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/05/05/chocolate-chip-cookie-dough-pancakes/ I promise you'll never look back. I make these at least twice a week.

Yeah. I agree, she doesn't deserve you if she's treating you like that anyway. People are f*ed.

Oops, I meant my maintenance allowance that MFP recommends is 1,400. My BMR is about 1,240. I will definitely look into this book since everyone recommends it! Can someone please give me insight on whether most of its tips are Gym based or does it also include advice on home workouts?

This site is looking pretty good! Thanks!!!

Yeah I agree, I'd like to inc. my calories, I just don't know how to go about it as silly as that sounds. That's why I started to look into gaining muscle mass as opposed to fat. I'm sick of looking scrawny, but cardio + watching calories are the only things I know how to do when it comes to maintaining my weight...
