Some people, like me, are really sensitive to salt - I get pretty swollen after eating something with a good bit of sodium - so they avoid it. Sodium occurs naturally in lots of foods, so I can get to the minimum requirement easily. I just try not to add any, and I try to avoid those foods high in sodium.

Could be your gall bladder or an ulcer or something more serious. I really recommend seeing a doctor: you'll put your mind at ease and they can probably solve your problem. Win-win!

Also, be sure to wash your strap to help it maintain conductivity. My watch wasn't picking up the signal from the chest strap, but washing the strap fixed it.
