  • Just finished the workout and man do I love it! I really appreciate the fact that it isn't repetitive like all the other workouts so far. It works you hard and it's motivating in a weird way to see everyone in the video struggling with it too. Kind of excited/scared to have to do this with the abs workout later in the…
  • Hey! I just started insanity last week and I've also gained weight. It's pretty standard for me when I start a new routine even though I've been at this exercising and eating healthy for over a year. It could be the body adjusting by holding on to water to repair damaged muscles, etc. I've already "lost" some of the weight…
  • Just completed day 8! At the beginning of the workout, I was a little slow to start with the warm-up...my body definitely realized I had taken a rest day yesterday. As the workout went on I felt great though and was definitely able to push through a lot more than the first time I did Cardio Power last week. I'm still so…
  • Just finished Day 6! My body is definitely getting stronger and more used to these workouts. Plyo was much easier the second time around. Like Shalla, I found myself resting waaayyy less and being able to do more of the moves. The push-ups still go way too fast but I was able to push harder with the in-and-outs and the…
  • Don't get me wrong...it wasn't easy, I just enjoyed it more than the other two workouts. I was dying doing 15 minutes with no breaks but I stopped a few times just like the trainers did to catch my breath/drink/stretch out my muscles. As for weighing in, I'm in a challenge where we weigh in on Mondays so I'll do it then.…
  • Hey! Just finished Pure Cardio as well. I must agree Shalla, I liked it way better than Plyo and Cardio Power. It's intense and insane but it's fun. It was also nice to see the trainers struggling with it...and Shaun T being scared of it lol! Those Level 2 drills are killers though! One more day to complete week 1!! :D
  • Done!! Anyone else can feel free to add me too. I always provide friends with support and encouragement so long as you're willing to give it back :)
  • The muscles in my calves are usually sore after I workout and when I wake up. It gets better the more I move and get on with my day. It's natural that they are a bit sore since we are working them so hard. For me though it's very slight and not at all painful.
  • Week 1 Day 4 CARDIO RECOVERY!! (Thank Goodness!!) Hey everyone! I just finished cardio recovery and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it! I know it's just a recovery workout but it's still quite intense. I was actually able to do the whole thing which was a real confidence boost. I think the exercises in this one hit all…
  • Just finished Day 3!! Wow that last circuit with all the hurdle jumps and globe jumps was killer! I could barely do the cool down stretches for how tired my legs were. I also need to figure out that triceps move...I didn't understand how to make my elbows bend like they did :P Anyway...another workout done and one day…
  • Completed the day 2 workout earlier this afternoon. I agree with dcgirl and shalla about thinking it would be way harder than it was (even though it was still hard)! The last circuit really killed me as Shalla said because they were going so fast and it was hard to keep up. I took a couple of breaks and modified a few…
  • Hey all! My name is Bianca but everyone calls me B. Just finished the fit test for day one. Definitely room for improvement but I'm happy to say that my results were better than my previous attempt at the Day 1 fit test. Looking forward to completing Insanity and seeing what kind of results I'll have after 60 days.…
  • Thanks for all the great links!!
  • Hey! Sorry to hear you're not seeing the results you want! I just looked through your diary and I'm wondering if you are logging everything? I see some days are missing dinner or you are eating very low calories. If that's because you aren't logging everything you eat, then I think you should start by logging every single…
  • Montreal! Feel free to add me :)
  • As long as TDEE minus 20% is not below your BMR then start with that. In a few weeks you can reevaluate and increase cals if need be.
  • I think you are way too close to your goal to be eating so little. You need to fuel your body it you want it to work, especially if you are working out with a program like the 30 day shred. You need to figure out all your numbers: TDEE, BMR, etc if you haven't already. This will help you figure out how many calories your…
  • Thanks for the link!! I'll definitely have to try it :)
  • Thanks for sharing! I already do some of these but I'm going to incorporate those I don't into my routine.

  • Hey!! I would love to have you as a friend. I log in everyday and am committed to living a healthy life. It sounds like we are looking for the same thing in friends...people who will get to know each other and communicate more than just "nice workout" or "great day" once a month. I would love to encourage and motivate you…
  • Count me in! And anyone can feel free to add me for support and motivation!
  • I'm always looking for new friends! Feel free to add me :)
  • Thanks for the link! Can't wait to check this out.
  • I'd be glad to have you as a friend! I'm looking for the same kind of support and I definitely comment on as many of my friends updates as I can. I have some great friends but I feel like I need more people who are going to encourage me and keep me accountable (and I'll obviously do the same for them). So anyone who fits…
