  • Take it easy, push yourself but don't make yourself sick! Find out your max heart rate, get a HRM and make sure you're in your target zone! Focus and push forward!

  • We plan all of our "fast food" meals, it really helps to keep you in line! It's good to treat yourself occasionally. Like if I know we are going to chick fil a for dinner, I make sure and only eat fruit or veggies during the day so I have enough calories, then I have my meal picked (including a cookie sundae!)

  • I have lost a total of like 18 inches all over! I am starting week 4, and notice huge changes in my tape, even though my scale says I've gone up in weight. I've also lost 3.3% body fat! KEEP IT UP! you're doing it!
  • I usually eat my excersize calories, but if I don't I'm STARVING I have lost 2 inches, and over 2% body fat sinc eI started, so I must be doing something right! I do a lot of protein, and I REALLY like the muscle milk!

  • I typically eat about an hour before my workouts, have something high in protein. Day 5 I feel GREAT not as sore as I have been in the past, tried to push myself a little more on the pushups. Pure Cardio was fun
  • I read on discovery health that taking a cold shower when you're done working out helps release the lactic acid, and soothe the muscles so you're not so sore...Finished day 5 today with a cold shower, I feel better!

  • I have a question! I scuba dive a lot, and that takes a LOT of endurance (carrying a big *kitten* tank and all your equipment and then swimming forever haha) Should I do my insanity on those days? Maybe just do them after my dives so I'm not as sore?
  • Don't get sloppy, keep your form! It's all about form, the speed and agility will come with it in time.
