I'm very bummed about no Strong Belwas. I would've liked Ser Barristan to have hung out for a while as Whitebeard, but that's not a huge deal. The Unsullied haggling scene was great, as was Tyrion's conversation with Tywin. All in all, I thought they did an excellent job of packing a ton of set-up into the first episode.

Fiancee and I are working on this together, so we're planning on having bacon-wrapped scallops, roasted veggies (parsnips, radishes, and brussels sprouts), and dark (70%) chocolate-covered strawberries. Couple glasses of wine each. So it shouldn't be too bad. That said, I'm totally jealous of your meal!

I almost never run without compression shorts anymore. If I do, I'm quickly reminded why I make it a habit to wear them. You can probably get a pair for 15-20 bucks at Wal-Mart or Target.
