I'm 24 and I often feel muscle soreness even more so on the second day. Idk why but if i do get sore, its usually mild the first day and I can barely move on the second day.

You truly have to take all the opinions you find here, do your OWN research and choose what works best for you and your body. Once you do that and commit to a plan you will find something that works and you will lose weight. And relax. Stress wont do your weight loss any good :happy:

They should have a calories in plain sight law nationwide! Ignorance is bliss until u realize you've put on a lot of weight because you were ignorant about the food choices you've been making. It will also force food chains to put healthier ingredients in their recipes.

He's right. You don't have to eat above your BMR. You will live and you will lose weight. HOWEVER...if you want to keep the weight off once you reach your goal, i highly suggest eating at your BMR at least. Eating at too low a calorie deficit for too long will condition your metabolism to that amount of calories. I say eat…

What she said! The lower the amount of calories you eat the worse off your metabolism. That could be why after a couple of bad days you gained weight. Your body will decrease your metabolism if your calorie intake is to low, its damaging. Eat above your BMR and below your TDEE for weight loss. It's that simple.

Yes water weight will cause you to gain all over. You must drink a lot of water daily. I had a plateau for 3 weeks, and during that time i didn't drink a lot of water like i was supposed to do. Thanks OP! This makes a lot of sense. I used to be so scared to eat my exercise calories back after i gained weight in the beginning, but that's because i was counting my work calories as exercise (i'm a waitress). So there was a lot of error in that. But now i happily eat most of my exercise calories.

Quite honestly i plan to eat at a deficit till i lose weight, then i plan to eat maintenance calories for the rest of my life. Hopefully after about two years or so I will know what 4 oz of meat looks like without having to measure it. After doing it for so long it's probably a lot easier to be able to properly eyeball…
