137??? I'm bad at guessing weight, so please don't get mad.

I have the best job in the world. I make Magic. I surprise and delight!!

Okay. I'm sure it varies, but take it from someone who has struggled with weight for years. I rarely ate breakfast because I was never hungry in the morning. I changed my eating habits in January. I now try to eat 6 times a day and rarely miss breakfast. I even eat when I am not hungry. This keeps the metabolism burning…

I'm right there with my friend Ladytinkerbell. Excellent advice!! Fundamentally you have to completely change the way you think about food. People have "cheat days" or reward themselves with food for doing good. I say rubbish. You have to get "food as a reward" out of your thinking and lifestyle. That's difficult because…

You don't care about color or height or anything else.....so bikers are okay???
-
Okay.....okay....I just had to come back to the thread and say that I have at least been returning waves to EVERYONE who is waving at me. I felt guilty after writing on this blog and felt I had to be a better person. I actually feel better now :-)

Always varies. But most of all, I appreciate my music. Play the piano.....a little bit on the drum kit.......and I also have a Gibson without a case and I can't get that even tanned look on my face. I also play the trumpet, but not so much these days. Music is almost a therapeutic as wind therapy on my motorcycles. Now…

You can show your Dad with your results. Keep focused and don't let his comments drag you down. If you lead by example and kill him with kindness and care, he will eventually get on the bandwagon. Keep focused and don't let anything get in the way of your goals. You can accomplish anything you set your mind to. My favorite…

Incredible difference....from pretty to gorgeous.....congratulations!

Just added two more bikes to the stable. I bought a pair of matching 1993, 90th Anniversary edition bikes. A Heritage and a 1200 Sportster. They look and ride badd-assed.

Oh....and P.S. I prefer riding alone most of the time. I don't like worrying about people next to me, behind me or in front of me. I just want to ride and feel the wind. I really only ride as a group when I'm supporting abused children through B.A.C.A.

I think I get along with everyone, but I just don't feel that "kindred" feeling with everyone on two wheels. Any bikes that swarm on the rode and cut and swerve in and out of cars like a pack of rats and doing wheelies down the expressways are not getting a wave from me. I think there is a certain pride that goes along…

Sorry. I'm a waving snob. I'm selective. I remember the fist. Don't know what happened to it. The two finger wave was more of a V-twin thing when it started. When someone was passing you riding a bigger bike, you put down the two finger wave. You would never throw it down to a Honda 750 (which was my first bike by the…

So many positive things: - off cholesterol medication - off diabetes medication - lower BP - loose shoes and motorcycle boots (didn't realize this would happen) - women aggressively hitting on me (flattering and somewhat amusing) - incredible annual physical improvements negatives: - costs a fortune in new clothing ($600…

There are two things you have said that are huge DANGER signals. "If he sorted out his anger and got a job." You need to get as far away from a guy like this as possible. The odd that someone like this gets better and sustains the improvement is slim to none. Trust your family's instincts. You also said "I've reached a…

Feel free to ask me any Disney questions as I'm sort of a Disney expert. ;-)

This guy is terrible and you need to get away. I wouldn't even give someone like that the courtesy of even knowing I was leaving. I would just let him come home and see all my stuff gone. He sounds dangerous. It doesn't sound like he has any respect for you at all and you certainly deserve better than that. BB

Why would I ever be nice given those two choices??????

How can one tell?

The only thing I would do is to work some of the oxidation and rust off. Don't repaint or change any of the original parts. It is badd-*kitten* just the way it is. A classic Norton just like I remember them. Was never a fan of a kick start though. An electric start was one of the better inventions of the last century!!

Keep the '68 Mustang and the '73 Shovelhead.

Bravo. Powerful story. You really seem to have gained strength through this period of both sorrow and joy.

I agree with this poster's comments. There are legitimate exceptions for serious illness and I would like to see companies work with people who have these issues. Don't forgive the debt, but help defer the debt.

I do not support forgiving student loans. Teaching financial responsibility has to start early. Most of these loans are at lower than market interest rates. I have always paid off every loan I have taken. Often that meant I drove a junk car or lived in a small house or apartment. I see people crying about their student…

No kidding...something got ya all excited and you left us hanging!!

I consider myself a biker. Hardcore??? Depends on my mood I suppose. Now those bikers who are wearing the matching "outfits" or shorts and tennis shoes on a motorcyle, I do admit chuckling when I see them. I'm not sure I look down my nose at anyone except for those who think people who ride Harleys are losers. I'm not even…

185 lbs. Where all the time go!!

The Doors (Jim Morrison) Janice Joplin Jimmi Hendrix ....but they're all dead, so I won't hold my breath.

Now Wild Hogs, I didn't have a problem with. Yes, it depicted both sides on the ridiculous side, but it was billed as a comedy. SOA tries to bill itself as if it is the real life of an MC. I can't count the number of people who kind of dream of living this bad boy lifestyle in their fantasies. Sort of like the Sopranos. I…
