I'm shooting for 145 based on body fat percentages. I originally wanted to go lower but that won't work with my frame I guess since I would have to be at about 2% body fat to get where I was heading. I am really starting to believe that number thing is just that...only a number. The body fat percentages and health are more…

After talking to the surgeon who did my colonoscopy (I know it's a bad word), he said he saw more people with problems from too little fiber than from too much. He said there really wasn't too much in a normal diet as long as you drink the water to go with it. So yet another reason to drink all that water.

Once we started this new lifestyle, we found I had major trouble with bleached flour. I've always had problems with dairy, especially when I have a fever, but this new problem became more pronounced as the new lifestyle choices became easier. We are in the process of taking all the bleached flour products out of the home.

When I started this I had problems eating all the food I was supposed to eat. Workout days I felt like I was eating all day long. My husband suggested eating granola bars and fruits when I had time (usually when I was driving home or to work which is an hour each way). This seems to be working for me.

I had my tonsils out when I was in my mid twenties. Lost almost fifty pounds due to dietary changes. I lived on wonton soup broth, vanilla pudding, and ice water. Not the healthiest way to lose weight. I would suggest taking things slowly so you don't do any damage in your rush to stay healthy. Good luck over summer.
