I have a cheat meal once a week or so, and I log everything, whether I'm over or not.

Welcome back! Add me if you like! :)

I allow myself to have those treats, once in awhile. For me, its the only way I can stay focused, I dont want to cut everything out of my life that used to make me happy (food wise) but I'm learning to eat those treats in moderation. Go ahead and treat yourself once in awhile. Eating clean and healthy doesnt mean you have…

I used to tan in my early 20's, but I know the risks and now that I'm a Mom I want to be around to watch my kids grow up. Its just too risky for me. I dont care if other people do it, it's there life, not mine. My hubby works outside so he gets a pretty good tan, otherwise I dont care if he's ghostly white or tanned.

For me it was a few things. I have two kids (3 and 8 months). My kids are my world and they need and deserve a healthy Mother, I need to set a good example for them. The other thing was really life changing. About two years we found out that my Husbands sister was diagnosed with bowel cancer. In Nov of 2011 we drove to…

I have had two babies in 3 years. I have stretch marks on my tummy and legs, as far as I'm concerend I earned them, kinda like tiger stripes :) I wont say I like them, but they gave me my two beautiful kids. I can live with them :) I dont think theres any cure out there, aside from surgery.

I never really thought about it to be honest. I have both male and females friends on here and I have never had an issue. My husband doesnt care either way, He has female friends on his fitness pal, doesnt bug me either. As long as these people are here for the same reason as me, and not to be inappropiate, then I'm ok…

Agreed. Maybe reset your goals so you have around 1500 calories for the day. Then you wont feel so hungry. As far as filling foods go, try spinach salads, greek yogurt is higher in calories then regular yogurt but its loaded with protein, so it helps to keep you full. Almonds and peanut butter are good too, in small…

This! I use good old fashioned hazelnut creamer, I only have one cup a day so I figure its not all bad when the rest of my day is spot on (usually)

I have a heart rate monitor coming in the mail. I have been doing Jillian Michaels "Ripped in 30" and Im basing the calories off my pedometer then increasing that amount slightly to make up from the sedetary moves, plus what I have googled, reading what other people my size/height have burned doing the same work out. Its…

Thank you :) I want to do this the healthy way and the right way, I will continue doing this for now and see what happens. If I have to bump it up to 1700 calories a day netting atleast 1500, then I will. Im not afraid to eat lol, I just what to keep losing and not stall out.

Welcome! invite sent :)

I will have a "cheat meal" once a week (sometimes two depending on the circumstance) but I will usually still come under my calorie goal without working out. I tried the whole "weekend off" thing and I ended up gaining back any weight I did lose during the week. Its really a learning process, everyone is different and what…

Sorry about the typo in the title :( Thanks for the input, I always have about 300-400 calories left after dinner, if not more and I usually make a healthy choice for a snack at night, I was just under the impression it was bad to eat later at night (must have read that somewhere) I feel better now :) I usually grab an…
