  • Basically what microfiber said. You're meant to be feel dead after an insanity workout, that's why it's called insanity ;) Don't worry so much about the eating plan, but you should def up your calories, no way is what you're eating anywhere near enough. I'm on 2000 and still losing! Do try to eat protein after a workout…
  • Great first results! Enjoy the program - feel free to add me, I'm also doing Insanity. I start week 3 tomorrow!
  • Really awesome results!! Well done :)
  • I think you've definitely got more shape and definition! Great job, and great stats too!!
  • 1. Sprite (i can easily drink 1 or 2l bottle all in one sitting) 2. Crisps of any kind 3. Jaffa cakes 4. Hashbrowns 5. Chocolate I don't really have treat things in my apartment because I'll just eat them all. Instead I just like to buy one of those if I'm out (say I'll have a can of sprite, or one chocolate bar) then it's…
  • Firstly my gym membership cos it really kick started my weight loss, but recently i would say my polar ft4 - i know what i'm burning now and it puts everything into perspective!
  • I eat 2000 a day, and don't eat back my exercise cals. My TDEE is about 2500 maybe a bit less so I'm eating less than that to lose weight. I do Insanity workouts (month 1) 6 times a week, walk approximately an hour a day to and from classes, and sometimes do little extra things at the gym. I'm 5'5, 143 lbs with 8lbs more…
  • That's amazing!! I'm holding off on that until I'm halfway through, but congrats on your loss! I know what you mean about not wanting to get behind or whatever, but you don't want to make yourself more ill. There seems to be a bug going round at the moment maybe it's because spring is finally here and people are getting…
  • Ooh I will thanks!
  • I've only got a few more pounds to go so I'm trying not to fixate on the scale too much these days and focus on overall fitness and fat loss! I'm doing the insanity program which is definitely whipping me into shape! Feel free to add me! I'm 24, 5'5 weight 143 lbs, trying to get down to 135! I log on everyday and log all…
  • Feel free to add me! I log on everyday, log everything, LOVE to cook and also love encouraging others :) Would love to swap recipes if you have any yummy ideas!
  • Can't you go in and ask for a tour? See what facilities they have, how clean it is and what classes they offer? That's what I didi when I joined the gym here. I'm at a fitness first in Leipzig, but it's 40euros a month. I'm very happy there but for 60 quid it would have to be amazing!
  • I really don't think so - as long as you're still being active in some way - which it sounds like you're planning on! Just make good food choices, move around a little every day and I'm sure you'll be fine! Congrats on reaching your goal weight!
  • gudgie21 - I would just see how you feel? Maybe try and do the workout (unless you're already feeling bad, in which case I would just skip the workout and rest) and see how you go. Insanity is hard enough as it is without trying to do it whilst fighting off an illness! I've got my second rest day today, not sure how I feel…
  • Great progress! I'm about 20% through... 2nd rest day tomorrow!
  • I think my favourite so far is Plyometric Cardio Circuit... I'm not a lover of Pure Cardio yet just because i find it so difficult! But im getting there... I quite like cardio abs today though, first time i'd done it!
  • Congrats to all of you who are on month 2 or about to finish! It's so inspiring for me to see people who've fought through it all and come out the other side! I had my first day of pure cardio and cardio abs today. Wow what a killer! I had to take rests today and I'm not going to lie and say I didn't find it extremely…
  • You could try doing the program and see how you get on, but if you're worried about your health then why not just do a video every other day, but still follow the order? Maybe speak to your doctor before hand and I'd definitely advise you to buy a heart rate monitor so you can keep track of your heart rate doing the…
  • Hi guys! I'm nearly finished with week 2 of insanity, i have today's workout and then a day off :) I really love the program, i can't wait to finish it to see the results! Right in time for summer too ;) Just got to remember to take it a day at a time and not get daunted by the whole process. Drink LOADS of water and make…

  • I'm doing insanity and my heart rate hangs around 170-180 a lot whilst doing the workouts. At first I worried but it doesn't make me feel ill, and i just take a rest as needed if i feel like i'm going too fast. Your maximum heart rate as a 19 yo is 201 and working out at 80% of that is recommended which is 160, which im…
  • Hi there! I'm only a few days behind you! I'm not really an expert enough to say but there was a video with Shaun T where somebody posed this question. He said 'do you press pause? are you giving your all?' stuff like that... I've also heard that you see the most results in the second month? How many cals are you on now?…
  • Nice work! Congrats!
  • I'm on day 13! Loving it so far, feel free to add me! today is pure cardio and cardio abs.... deep breath!
  • You look amazing! and so happy too! massive congratulations on your journey and for not giving up! what an inspiration! :)
  • I'm doing Insanity too! I'm on day 12, but also live in Europe so can't get shakeology or recovery formula. I don't worry about it really, I think it's just something they try to sell you. I have upped my protein because it helps with muscle soreness after workouts and I've worked out from the nutrition guide how much I…
  • I know exactly what you mean! You just want to get the best results possible! I'm somehow trying to get 200g protein into each day but finding it impossible! I'm just not that hungry! I'd def recommend a HRM - I'm surprised sometime by my cals burnt, so I think you'd find it useful. I did the workout barefoot today for the…
  • • Gender: Female • Age: 24 • Starting weight: 168lbs • Current weight: 142lbs • Goal weight: 135 lbs • What are your reasons for wanting to lose weight? - To feel better about myself, be healthy and fit back into my old wardrobe • Tell me a bit about your past… - I lose weight once before but it was more puppy fat than…
  • A english girl here! Feel free to add me :) originally from cambridgeshire
  • Way to go! Are you seeing some results now? I bet you're feeling so much stronger!
  • You look amazing! Congratulations! Just goes to show that the scale isn't everything! I'm doing insanity too, so this gives me such motivation to get off my bum and do today's workout!
