Ah thank you so much for that link! I used one of those weighing scale things at the gym, not sure how accurate it is. It's not one you pay for or anything, but it's the best I have to go on! I thought about sticking with 2340 and then jumping on the scales in a month or so. I just need to get the mindset out of my head…

Thank you! Unfortunately the Chinese takeaways round here (UK) don't seem to do steamed anything which sucks! I presume it's all stir-fried in oil.

An excuse for more food? That sounds good to me!

Ah thanks guy, will definitely check that out! Do you think doing cardio too will hinder my progress that much? I'm also thinking of doing Yoga.

Eating more sounds good to me. So far I have calculated my maintenance is 1900 so I've then calculated that my calorie intake should be 2150, 138g of protein, 60g fat and 265g of carbs. Not sure how right this sounds but I'll just go with it and see what happens! That sounds scary, I guess I'll definitely have to be aware…

I was told focussing on one area of the body is more for experienced weight trainers and if you're a beginner you should just work your whole body 3 days a week - this is why I get confused with being told different things. I guess it's all about trial and error and finding out what's best for yourself I guess! But from…

Adding 100 on every couple of weeks is actually a really good idea! What would you do regarding your macros?

Decided I'm going to go for a burrito which will be around 550 calories and then go all out with the cheesecake which will be fat hell but who cares?! Going to eat well and work out for a few days before and after my birthday so I know I deserve it!

Last posted on here a while a go! I'm 6'1, currently weight 141.8lbs. I have UK size 8 feet, so US size 10. I am clothes size UK 10/12 but sometimes I can fit into a UK 8, just depends on the shop. So a US 6/8 or sometimes a 4. I'd say I have a medium frame. Nice to see lots of tall people!

I am 6'1 and weigh 145/146lbs. My GW was 147 but I'm still not happy. Would like to see what I look like at 140 and then tone to create muscle and then gain weight through muscle and not fat. Or so, that's my theory!

Bit like with me and my family! Not because they're doing on purpose, it's just because usually I would have loved the huge cheesecake, bag of sweets etc. 6 weeks on they've got used to the fact that what I want to eat is changing. Also, there is a bit of general weight loss in my family at the moment, although I'm the one…

I'm 6'1 and 17 years old. I currently weigh 154lbs but I'm looking to get to around 147. I wouldn't say I have a large frame but I don't have a tiny one either. My shoe size is a UK 8. Would love to befriend other tall women so I have someone to relate to!

I am 6'0-6'1 and I'd like to lose around 10 pounds to begin with. Feel free to add me if you'd like to check out my diary, it's nothing special to be honest!

I am 1850 under my weekly goal, not including the 3500 deficit MFP have given me. So in total, my weekly deficit is around 5350. I walk a couple of miles a day, sometimes more and sometimes less but that's about it.

Nottinghamshire here, but might as well class myself as South Yorkshire too!

I agree! The term cheat meal just oozes guilt therefore making you feel negative, whereas treat makes you feel as if you've really earned it so you feel positive! Wow, that's amazing! Massive well done to you!!! Yeah, I feel at the minute I'm quite goal orientated but I know that I'll slide into a routine which will make…

I feel like I've been cutting out treats for myself. I mean, I have literally been at this a week but I've told myself I'm only allowed a 'treat' when I have a full day at school (that's two days a week) and as long as I walk both ways (around 3.2 miles). My definition of a 'treat' was a 2 finger kit kat but I'm realising…

Ah, so you work out how much under your weekly goal you are and then have a treat accordingly?
