I'm the same way. I've always sabotaged myself after I saw the scale moving. Looking in the mirror doesn't affect me as much. What I've done is stopped looking at the scale. My last weigh in on MFP was about a month ago. I know I have lost more from the way my clothes are fitting but I refuse to see the numbers. At least…

I will take all your advice regarding the calories. My husband said the same thing. But, I wanted to make sure. Because it didn't make sense to me. All of you can't be wrong. Yes, I got it! That makes sense. But, it seems that the weight would be coming off a little more since I'm eating less calories than the net. I know I shouldn't compare myself to others. I'm eating 1200-1300 per day. When you say "net" calories. Is there a difference?
