Thanks, 2baninja. We made it safely. Most of the drive was smooth sailing. The only major slowdowns were heavy traffic in Nashville and a short pause caused by fire and police in New Hampshire who were dealing with a car fire. We tried a different route this time to avoid going through New York City. I think I like this…

So far so good. Roads are in decent shape although construction & maintenance slow downs in a couple of spots but not too bad. Worst traffic so far was Nashville… just volume delays, I think. Stop & go for about 20 min then started flowing again. First two days, roughly 8.5 hrs driving each. The next three will be around…

I'm headed out on my semi-annual long drive from Texas to Canada. Hopefully I will be able to update daily but it depends on whether I get internet access or not.
