Hi I'm a mom of one and I'll be turning 40 in about a year. I am hoping to have shed some extra weight and be as healthy as I can by that time because I know that in the last 5 years my metabolism has changed and I know the changes are going to continue after I turn 40. Feel free to add me :)

In response to the person who asked how to enter calories: Don't remember what it's called (sorry), but there is a website out there that allows you to enter the juice recipe and it will provide the calories. Not sure what the 'science' is behind it - I think they bump out the fiber and calulate remaining calories.

I started with green apples and carrots. But now I love everything (but cabbage). I often juice kale, a green apple, 1/2 lemon peeled, a small cube of ginger. I also love beet juice- so sweet. I am in the same boat. I have been trying to lose weight for the past 2 years. I exercized a lot last year and the scale did not move. Now after a few months of doing nothing I am going to try the kitchen route. They say 80% is in the kitchen. I wish you all the best!!
