I've seen some people who have had results... Although I'm not sure about the quality of the products, they have had a few law suits.. I'm on a shaklee cinch diet, which uses shakes and bars, but teaches you how to maintain it once you are at your goal weight. If it doesn't seem like it's working try something else.

I try to not avoid things because I'm on a diet, otherwise I feel like I'm depriving myself. Moderation is key, If I have a few drinks, I stick with the low cal ones, and I'll but an extra long workout n the next day! I sauteed chicken sausage with thin sliced apples and onions the family used wraps and rolls, and I made a lettuce wrap, it was fantastic!

I weigh myself almost everyday, different times of day too. I think more out of curiosity, although it does keep me on the right track, if I weigh more one morning, it get's me motivated!
