Oh, yeah. It's mostly water retention and bloating, though, I think. I've noticed it will appear as if I haven't lost anything the week of, and then after it's over and I "deflate," I've lost the amount of weight I thought I would.

I had a Clif bar this morning not too long after I had an apple. I worked out and hadn't eaten anything. I counted the apple as breakfast, and because I ate the Clif bar later I counted that as a snack. I also had a few almonds...and then about an hour ago I was bad and had TWELVE Cheez-its...so good though! I plan on…

I wear flannel pajamas during the winter, shorts and a T-shirt during the summer. Fiance finds both super-hot, especially the flannel pajamas. Ha!

I'm definitely a dog person. I feel like dogs have more personality than cats. My pup is sitting next to me right now! :-)

Wow...you look great!! You're doing such a wonderful job. Keep it up!

I also used to weigh myself every day...but I was the opposite of you two because I would go crazy if I'd gained a pound or whatever. I try to weigh myself once every 10 days, which, now that I have a new scale, is really hard. But right before I weighed in this morning my heart was pounding and I wanted to see a lower…

I would! If you're walking at a brisk pace, your heart is definitely pumping and you're getting a workout. I would log it into MFP!

I'm sure you have worked hard. It is scary to weigh yourself, especially when you HAVE been working hard. You worry about feeling as if you should have lost with how you will feel if you haven't lost, or if you have lost but not as much as you thought you should have or wanted to. (Sorry for the run-on sentence.) Just know…

Great job! I'm sure you feel fantastic - you certainly LOOK fantastic!!

(I hope you don't mind if I describe it, I like to be detailed lol) I finished class at 430 and had to get gas and things, and I had been craving candy alllllllll day. I've been really good the last couple of weeks (only a couple of weeks, but it's a start!) with eating lower-carb and the carbs I do eat coming from whole…

Do lots of cardio, it helps burn body fat. Keep working on building muscles, that's important too. Keep eating lots of veggies, and make sure to drink water (not soda). Good luck!

Like a previous poster said, your friends will gain the weight back that they're losing. Especially when you first begin losing weight, you lose quickly because it's "water weight." Your weight loss, should you choose to do it slowly, will be slower but it will be more lasting.

I definitely understand your difficulties. I have been having the same problem too. I'm trying to eat more often and eat very healthy (for the most part, except for a couple of days last week...but we won't get into that), and then I notice I haven't eaten nearly enough! Even though I'm not really that hungry, I eat more…

You can do it!

I'm 5 feet tall...started out at 150 this summer, somehow I got down to 135 (I think it was job/school stress). Now, I'm trying to lose weight for real and actually KEEP it off by changing my lifestyle habits into something more healthy. My goal is about 110. Maybe 115 if I'm comfortable there.

You look amazing. It takes a really strong, motivated person to lose 110 pounds. I don't know you, but I am really proud of you!!
