I know what you mean. I have lost a 5 pounds since Jan. 8 of this year and even my pants (including undies) fit better plus, I can fit into my favorite blouses that I had gotten to large to wear anymore. So, congratulations and carry on...

Bill Cosby used to say they entertain us and I found this to be good advice and true. I'm a mother of four grown children, all self motivated, intelligent, productive, prolific and all with good sense of humors. I found a water container with an 8-cup measurement so I fill it up early in the morning and drink about one glass per hour or more at room temperature. It's encouraging to see the line go down.

Welcome! It is good you are being realistic about what goes into starting a new lifestyle and yet remaining positive. Just remember when you have days when you go over your caloric intake not to fret or worry but just carry on and you'll do just fine. Don't punish yourself by overindulging. Good luck to you!!

I lost 5 lbs. my first week, too and now am in week 2 but how many have you lost in addition to the 1 lb. after the 5 lb.? It is much harder for me the second week. I think I expect to much. Any advice, please on how to keep going and not to get discouraged? Thanks.
