I went heavy on vegetables during lunch, for one. I used to be a fanatic for Panda Express and their orange chicken, but switching that to broccoli and beef REALLY made a difference. 120 calories and I was FULL without touching the rice or anything else. I did smoothies from Juice it Up and Jamba Juice every few days as…

I love snow dogs. Huskies, Laikas, Mallies, Eskies... bring them on!

Haven't seen it yet, but tingly finger tips and toes. It'll feel like they're falling asleep.

You guys are abusing the order of copulations here.

Happens to me, too. I eat healthy, high-protein and lotsa vegetables, and I lose minimally if at all, or I eat sugary cereal and drop a lb the next day. I think our bodies just adjust to the better end of stuff and learn to use sugar as fuel immediately after, rather than hanging onto it and storing it as happened before.…

I'm 5'5", at 122, and heading to 118.

This this this. And then this. So there. You aren't alone in the game; the players are just spread out across the map. At my work the same is going on toward me; my own supervisor is turning on the concerned-mode while a coworker flat out accused me of having an eating disorder to my face. Icing on the cake is that another…

The glycogen 5 lb gain was something I hadn't read before. Thank you!!! Stuff makes a LOT of sense right now.

The people at my work were supportive until the past two weeks. They've gone from being team cheerleaders to flat out asking if I might have an eating disorder, and are now grabbing the "wings" of the butt on my too-large pants while saying "You're just a stick figure now!" (We don't have boundaries in my department; we're…

I'd dress a little nicer. :drinker:

Black chain mail has a special place in my heart. Just sayin'.

My first HRM was the FT4, and I figured it out tech-wise pretty fast. I think it's a great starting investment.

I have an Ft40 by Polar. The way mine works is that it shows a "fat burning zone" at a lower heart rate and a "fitness zone" at medium-to-higher heart rate. From what I understand, the fat burning zone and fitness zone are just labeled to show you what is burning calories versus what burns them and is improving your…

I bought my first two XS scrubs top this week, in two different brands. Holy crap.

48 pounds took me from a US size 12 (slightly snug) to a comfortable US size 4. I wear size small in clothes, but if the brand runs small I wear a medium in pants. Dem hips.

Looks like I'm beating some brains in with my keyboard. Razer Power!!

I have no idea what my triggers are. Sometimes they happen around TOM, and sometimes it's entirely random. What I take: - Excedrin - Ibuprofen 600 x2 - Vicodin No joke on the latter, there. It may make me sleep walk and do bizarre Ambien-type stuff, but if I can sleep through the recovery part of the migraine, bring it on.

Limited is my go-to for work pants and suits, when I need dress-clothes. I otherwise wear scrubs at work. For shirts I go to NYC (and they've been pretty dry lately, to be honest) and home-in-the-wall places; the latter is to find things that might stand out a bit more, like added flare. Admittedly shirts are some of the…

Best thing I could tell you won't lift you for the moment, but bear with me. That inch, especially from around your waistline, is proof that -something- is working. It may not be working in the way you think it should, but weight aside, that inch is progress. You may start slimming down first before the numbers start to…

48 lbs took me from a 36 to a 34, bordering toward 32. My weight was distributed pretty evenly, if that matters. I didn't carry more of it in one area over the other.

I'm an *kitten*, Add me?

Hello! I've been taking my time on this as of lately (was in a rush when I started, but learned to just "let it happen" rather than pushing it to the breaking point and suffering). I am on daily and try to log as often. I joined last January but have missed days here and there as my ticker will say.

And if they're on the road, does that make fewer of them in the workplace? If so... SOLD!!

I hate it when they roll their windows up while I'm raging.
