I ate ice cream for dinner once last week, and I'm about to do it again.

I am anemic. My anemia, however, comes from not being able to absorb iron from food, so meat and/or leafy greens do little to nothing for me; I have to get shots. Please do try the meat/greens route, but keep checking your levels. I hope you do not have to resort to shots as well. It's a monthly/bi-monthly pain in the ***…

I ate a box of Kraft macaroni and cheese tonight... by myself. I have broccoli, fresh corn, and carrots in the fridge... and I chose this.

Thank you for the email! I'm back on board and getting ready for my first Blacklight Run next month!

True. TPBM is wearing black socks right now.

It's probably going to increase your craving for sugar, if anything. And that is one hard thing to turn down, I tell ya hwut.

It wasn't my intention. I was trying to be helpful on how she sees herself, via her description. I personally do not believe she is fat at all.

1) It sounds like "skinny fat", and 2) it sounds like both a change of diet and workout plan might be in order. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you lean more on cardio (coming from the bony comment), and suggest adding strength training into the mix. Free weights (I use dumbbells and a kettlebell at home!) along with…

I sure would. Someone else already ate half the damn thing!

Totally saving these.

Chocolate milk. No regrets. :drinker:

Flee the building! (And send me the address so I can "clean up the contamination".)

ReadySnax at the grocery store. Each one is about 150 calories and comes with a combo of pretzels, flatbread crackers, grapes, cheese, apple slices, granola, caramel, yogurt, ranch, carrots, broccoli... depends which ones you get. One of those and a side snack like chips (I always crave something salty) works for me, so…

I'm 5'5" with about 10 lbs to go.

Because it wasn't MY lipstick she was wearing. :grumble: :grumble:

I see lots of snazzy boxes, but a serious lack of fun bags.

My HRM strap and monitor? Those prudes.

Definitely depends on build. On a personal note, I was 116 at high school grad and wasn't defined as "skinny" or "bones" to anyone. I'm 5'5" and 30 years old (don't tell anyone). SW: 170.5 CW: 132 GW: 118

When your paddle brush is wider than your hand with fingers outspread...

Easier to feel the gym's AC on bare arms?

It's not only your organs that risk shifting. Your ribs can shift curvature. I know some people are going to look at this (and the other warnings) and go, "Eh, everything has risks," but this is not one worth the time unless you've already lost the weight and want that Masuimi Max cinched waist look.

Starting is the hardest part, right with acceptance of what IS. Plant your feet, look in the mirror, and say, "This is where it STARTS." Then MOVE.

Has a lot of fun when he goes out!

Sounds good to me. Thanks!

My days are starting to look like this, too. In for answers and ideas.

Progress.

I weigh the ups and downs of eating extra at the end of the day if that happens. Will (item being considered) keep me up all night? Will I have to work out a few minutes to make up for any "overs"? Will I feel full, or just want more? Am I ready to pop/barf right now? If it keeps me from going to bed RIGHT THEN, though,…

I'm not sure. :embarassed: I'm shy and don't really like attention, but I do like that people have noticed the changes... hard to decide.

I'd sit in with you. As long as you're not full of *kitten* from the start of the course, I'd give ya a shot. :drinker: :flowerforyou: But if you start telling me about gluten being my worst enemy or sucking toxins out through foot pads, I'm bouncin'.

Truth. :grumble: Depends what the instructor is teaching. Lifting techniques? I'm game. Cardio? I'd sit in a few classes. If it gets my heart rate up and makes me sore THE RIGHT WAY, I'm in for a try. Eyebrow might raise, but I'll try it.
