  • Just looking for a gauge really! Does your other half: Do an equal share of the housework when he/she is home? Yes. We both have things we hate. He does laundry cuz I hate it. He hates dishes. I do the bathrooms. He does the floors. Cook for you? No, but it doesn't bother me. He CAN make a mean Hamburger Helper when I ask…

  • I know it's odd, but big calves are a MAJOR turn on to me!
  • I like exercising alone also. Talking just gets in the way. That last time I exercised with anyone, it was with a friend of mine who claims she had been working out quite a bit, so I thought it might be fun. We have a nice trail that winds through a good part of town, and it's good for walking, running, biking, skating,…

  • It never fails to amaze me how people feel it is perfectly OK to comment on such things as YOUR FAMILY PLANNING. FWIW, I get ish because I have one kid and plan no more. I had a fall wedding and black white and red were my colors and we got lots of compliments!!! Spider webs never crossed my mind! LOL
  • I have lost a significant amount of weight over the last few years...and put about 20 back on. There is this guy at my job I really just do not care for. You know the type...he HAS to make it a point to speak to everyone, even though no one really likes him. I was out walking one day and trying to ignore him, when I…
  • What a moving and lovely tribute to your friend. Keep his gifts to you close to your heart, always.

  • I try and fit in a walk between clinic appts. I can do the mile route around our campus in about 20 minutes. It beats nothing at all.
  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Nook...but I still check out books from the library too!! I'm usually reading 2-3 'real' books at any given time, but I flop back and forth.
  • I love working out in lightweight running shoes. I bought some Adidas when I decided to start training to do a half marathon. Never got around to it...but the shoes are serving me very well!!!
  • Currently reading V is for Vengeance, the latest in the Kinsey Millhone series by Sue Grafton. Secretly sad she is close to the end of the alphabet...
  • When a gaggle of older women come into the gym, hog all the treadmills and proceed to have a hen session at the top of their lunds for the minimum 30 minutes. And people who bring their kids with them and the said kid is hanging out on a machine I want to use doing NOTHING. Yep, I ask them to move. I like seeing young…

  • I prefer to think of myself as smarter and 'seasoned'!!!
  • I tried to combat this....me and the hubbs took a Love & Logic Class. As the child of 2 yellers...I don't always get it right. But it DID get to stop and think about the things I'm doing and why. I still consider myself a platinum member of the crummy mom club but I am trying!!! Sometimes I just have to WALK AWAY...(mine…
