Either Valerie Leon or Imogen Hassall. I just love the softer, curvier, 70's look.

I take it by buying those three cheeses you became a member of the Cheshire cheese club?

Americans, North or South? US involvement in WWII wasn't simply to bail "England" out.

Vegetarians can eat eggs and cheese, vegans strictly don't. A vegetarian is someone who lives on a diet of grains, pulses, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits with, or without, the use of dairy products and eggs. Or A vegetarian does not eat meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, or by-products of slaughter.…

For me I liked the taste of meat just not where it comes from, a lot of vegetarians are like that. Now I wouldn't want them to taste exactly like the stuff, it creeps me out but I still like a frankfurter or hamburger I don't think they will ever taste that much like them without having the animal fats in.

I'm 5'10. I ate around 600 for years, I got to my goal weight and then a bit below. After a couple of years I was burnt out, diagnosed with cfs and start eating around 1000 calories a day. The weight piled on until I weighed more than I started with. Now I'm eating around 1800 when I'm not exercising and anything up to…

Thought I would drop a line to say hello and good luck. I was diagnosed with cfs many years ago after years of sticking to just 600 calories a day. Of course I feel like it was completely my fault. That on top of developing a tumour inside my right kidney which was fortunately benign if not rather large which has now been…

Rum & Raisin, preferably Bradwells.

ah it all depends on the time of the year. Golden Delicious and Granny Smith when it's hot braeburns or red delicious when it's a bit cooler - which is most of the time where I am.

Hopefully tomorrow you will feel differently, but it is hard when you look back. I find as I get older the things I was once critical about just don't matter any more. We are all different and most of us see ourselves as imperfect in one way or another but most of the time it's in a way that nobody else would notice or…

ah, was wondering if anyone was talking about E3, I'd forgotten about it, mainly as I still seem to think it's Sunday and not Wednesday. Having a look and for me Watch Dogs and ZombieU both look to be very exciting. I'm also really excited about a new Sim City, I just hope it isn't as disastrous as SimCity Societies.

Fantastic job, it takes years off you!

I had mine put in last September. My periods haven't evened out yet but I've managed to lose weight. I had mine put in to try and control extremely heavy and painful periods though rather than as a contraception.

I'm the same, my friends keeps trying to get me to come to classes but I much prefer to do it in my own space. I follow a mixture of routines, the Yoga for Beginners in the Dummies series on dvd, that has a beginners and also an intermediate routine, and also one that I've recorded from the TV, David Olton's Yoga For All.…

I love the original Hills Have Eyes, I like that sort of era of American horror. I'll check out Grave Encounters, don't have netflix as it's a bit rubbish over here, I trialled it when it was released here this year but it didn't have that much good stuff, it might be something that will show up on the horror channel…

Session 9 isn't a POV movie. I watched it last night. I was mainly annoyed by the lack of protection when cutting in to a ceiling tile that was suspected of containing asbestos but maybe that's what the problem was. It was an okay film, worth watching.

A quick walk uphill, 40 minutes calisthenics and now however long I can be bothered with on the elliptical.

Currently reading "50 Great Myths of Popular Psychology: Shattering Widespread Misconceptions About Human Behavior" by Scott O. Lilienfeld, Steven Jay Lynn, John Ruscio & Barry L. Beyerstein I also need to get back to reading "The Great Gatsby" by F.Scott Fitzgerald, trying to read some books I have been meaning to for a…

Cheese, Peanut Butter, as a veggie I have tried my hardest to get into, I found one I kind of liked and was impressed at first but I just couldn't finish the jar, ick. Cheese I just don't see it's appeal although I like mild forms melted, I will have feta and mozzarella cold but that's it. The veggie option in restaurants…

Nancy Botwin, Vin Diesel , Iron Man; Not my ideal line up.

My name is also Sharon. Now the username is what I finally came up with, when I joined the site I thought I would be anonymous so I wanted to use a different username to what I use on other sites and I suppose at the time I was feeling a bit unsure of a lot of things, I'm not any more.

Has anyone else watched the '89 adaptation of the novel?

Tramp is my favourite but it's retro now.

It all depends, although I do believe it's a term that is overused denying it could be said to encourage those that eat way below and are only netting 700 - 800 calories a day. I think there needs to be more clarification rather than just yes it does exist, no it doesn't. This is a bit of a long story. 10 years ago I first…

This is part of the walk I go on in the woods just behind my house, it would take me 10 minutes to get to this point reverse route. Other than that I live with my parents and the house is great but isn't as interesting as what I can see on the walks just behind me. This is from the hill right behind me looking towards my…

I am, although they only showed the first series in the UK late at night on a satellite channel once so it isn't really known here. I've seen the first three series although I've only been able to get series one on dvd, hoping they release more.

Lot's of the ones that have already mentioned more towards heavier side/punk side of independent music, Sonic Youth, Husker Du, Mudhoney, The Adicts, Dead Kennedys, MDC, The Cramps, The Meteors, Demented Are Go, Killdozer, Halo Benders, Lightning Bolt, Bikini Kill, Sleater-Kinney, Devo, Pulp, Camera Obscura, Belle &…

I have to admit I followed this earlier in the year, I was still in a lot of pain from the embolisation but had started doing some exercise, I then sprained my ankle! So I ended up doing this just to keep active. I never found the right chair to use though.

I believe that the whole 8 glasses of water thing was a sort of mistaken quote or a report but into terms that could be understood then it spiralled out of control, unfortunately I can't find a source for this. I believe they worked out that the body needs roughly 8 glasses of liquid a day to function but this can be…

I don't think I've ever seen the original Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark , it looks good though. That's the kind of thing I like I think if we go back to the 70's that's when there was some really good "plays" on TV, dramas that were sometimes a bit gritty. I haven't seen any of those that you mentioned so I'm going to look…
