I'm from Brisbane, too! I live in Okinawa, Japan currently, but Brisbane is ALWAYS home! You can do it! Stay the course! :D

Thank you so very much for all the advice! I appreciate it very much :) I did very slow 1.5 mile jog yesterday and I still felt a little breathless. I might skip my 10 mile run tonight and just rest. Thanks again!

I am 4 months PP after a c-section (my 2nd c-section) I gained 14lbs this pregnancy, and I carried my baby on my back, so I was quite small - HOWEVER: My stomach still had some loose skin, but it's tightening up every day. I think we just have to stick at it. Keep eating right and exercising our cores (along with the rest…

Yes, I saw other people mention it - I figured I should too - always use the reduced sodium, fat free broths. I also like a little garlic powder or Mrs Dash in my rice. We eat a LOT of brown rice in our house :)

I gained 6lbs with my first son. I'm 6 months pregnant with my 2nd son right now, and I've gained 3lbs.

I cook it in chicken broth (or stock - whatever I have on hand!) I also add a little salt and pepper :-)

I hope someone can help you - because you've done an AMAZING job! Bump for you!

You should at least be eating your BMR + 500 calories! http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
-
I calculated my BMR and input that as my calorie goal - it was significantly higher then what MFP suggested, and sure enough, when I ate my BMR, I lost more weight (and I was happier!) I'm pregnant now, and I am still counting my calories. I was 161lbs (5"7) when I got pregnant and now, at 18 weeks pregnant, I am 160lbs.…

Make sure you log those in your calories ;-) LOL!
-
I use the recipe tool, input my recipes in there and go from there :-)

You look amazing - and it looks like your husband has benefited from your lifestyle changes, too! WAY TO GO!!!

My husband is a Navy Corpsman, and he's been deployed IA with Army and he's much happy with the Navy (well, actually - he's a Green Side Corpsman, so he's happiest with the Marines)

So unnecessary. You don't decide who you love. You just love them. And to say she knew what she was signing up for? I didn't know. I didn't know how much of myself I would truly be giving up. You can't possibly know until you're already in. This comment was so unnecessary and cruel.

I would save 2000+ with no exercise.

I had a c-section, and after my c-section I noticed I gained weight in my belly, which I never had before. I'm at 40+lbs loss now and my belly is nice and flat. I'm working on toning the abs! (I'm 5"7 and started at around 199/200lbs) THERE IS HOPE!

I love the show Sister Wives, and they show the reality of polygamy, warts and all. I think if its something you truly believe, in your gut, then you should live it, and it's up to none of us to judge. Go for it, I say.

Lots of us from Brisbane/Northern Brisbane area!! :)

I grew up in Petrie! I live abroad now, but Australia is always, always home!

I love running, and my playlist is incredibly eclectic, and no necessarily music I would listen to if I weren't running... But my favourite running song (at the moment) is "Loaded Gun" by Tyler Hilton. http://youtu.be/bfpFP5uWemQ

Weirdly I have Pizza Hut on my screen right now. Which is very odd.

Sorry, it was me that brought up this old thread. I was googling for info and I saw this thread.

I just threw my breakfast up within 5 minutes of eating it. Does that count?! Also, should I retake the vitamins I took before I ate my breakfast?
-
The change is HUGE! Congratulations on your success :)
-
Elliptical is great because I can read while running - but I also love "real" running :-)
-
YOUR FACE! I can see SO much loss your face! Girl, you look SO good! Be proud!

Yes, if you go to the Food Tab , it's under there :) I love it!

I have this problem too - and I washed mine, with soap and a dish brush, LOL - it seems to be working better now. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread in case there are some other ideas. (I never thought about wearing it above my boobs, LMAO!)
