I just sprinkle chia seeds on yogurt and eat it immediately. I don't like them when they turn into frog eggs....

Don't worry about your time!!! Just do it. You will be so pumped that you did it! :) For a 5K I don't carry water or anything, because generally there is water at the end and I hate carrying stuff when I run. It's over before I am really thirsty. Good luck and have fun!!! I am editing because I realize I didn't answer your…

I am no longer Catholic either, but we do participate in Lent as an exercise in family focus and will power. Our go-to is take out coffee (bye, bye Timmies) and timbits for the kids, as it is a bad habit we have on weekends when we are on the go. We are adding chocolate, as a family. I am also extending that to any sweets…

I like this thread! 1. My jeans are a bit loose this morning. 2. The sun is shining and there is fluffy white snow everywhere - we have had a GREY winter, so this is beautiful! 3. My big kids went off to school smoothly and with a smile. :flowerforyou: It's going to be a great day!

Shut it and cook it on low from…

Food porn! So true!! My DH and I will often split an entree or get an app to share and have a big salad, dressing on the side. I also will try to eat a piece of fruit or some raw vegs before going out to fill up a bit.

Weekends are definitely a challenge. We often have special events going on, or are out and about. I try to bring healthy snacks and such to help. I find exercise hard on the weekend, too, because I am out of routine.

ETA - thought I had grabbed the quote from the girl from TBay... Oops! My DH and I met at Lakehead. Thunder Bay.... There is nothing else like it anywhere.

Hello! I'm closing in of 40, also a SAHM. I just joined at the beginning of Jan and definitely more friends here because I cannot convince any IRL friends to join. :ohwell: Sending you a friend request! :flowerforyou:
