Sometimes I weigh myself twice a day, sometimes every other day. I like to keep myself in check.. if I eat bad, I notice it on the scale, if I do well, the number motivates me to keep going. Some people look down on it and thats fine, I think what works best for you is always what you should do. :)

Try Torrid.com It's a plus size website and they have a lot of footwear. They make a lot of their shoes in wide sizes. maybe if you look through their boots you mind find some that work for you. check it out. :)

I obviously watch my calories but I do watch my carbs. I don't eat bread, pasta, potatos, chips, etc. If I do its rare and in small portions...and I never eat anything white, always whole wheat/grain if Im going to do that sort of thing. I eat carbs, obviously, but more through fruits and that sort of thing :)

Why dont you just ask friends who are whatever size you are at if they have any old jeans just as transition jeans until you get to where you want to be. It's a cheaper option I guess.

I think it's a total preference thing, either that or a desperation to try anything that will help you lose weight. I do think that if you are eating lots of dairy you should be careful and chose the healthy dairy choices but its whatever works best for you and your body. Same exact thing has been happening to me and i got the same answers. I thought, how could I possibly be gaining THAT much muscle, I can barely use the 8lb weights. Sooo awesome! Especially the BMI thing - being healthy is so important. A lot of my goals have to do with my BMI as it is a huge concern for me so I think that's such a spectacular victory. :) congrats on everything and keep on keepin on!. x

i think this is an awesome idea :) a good reward after you've worked so hard for your body. i feel the same about getting different skin removal procedures done on your body after weight loss.. you deserve it.

That would be ideal for me too. I'm trying for 20 more but I would be REALLY pleased with 30 more by new year. If I don't reach 20 I will be disappointed, I won't lie. If I get to 30.. well.. boys at nye festivities watch out cause i'll be feelin good. good luck :)

Don't sell yourself short, it takes hard work and lots of effort to lose 1 lb and even more to lose 10. congrats!!

If you love it, and you can control yourself and eat just one I think you should. You have the calories and I'm a firm believer in not depriving yourself of the things you love ALL the time, once every few months won't kill you. You should see a nutritionist or a dietitian. Find out what works for you - something combining what you need to lose weight and what you can eat without wanting to binge or cheat after a week. I think it would be super beneficial.

This happens all the time, just bad timing with water retension, maybe too much sodium or your body worrying when you didnt eat enough calories. No worries, just drink lots of water and IM sure you'll be back down 3 and more very soon!.
