Zoodles. Just NO. If I want to eat spiral cut zucchini, I will do so on its own as a side, quickly sauteed with garlic and a herb blend. Spaghetti squash. Also NO. I don't want squash in place of my noodles. I'll gladly eat squash for its own sake and love it.

As a Type II also, I drink in moderation. I don't have drink suggestions as I primarily consume wine but any carbs that come from alcohol are immediately deducted from my total carb count for that particular meal. I would definitely not overdo it and talk to your MD.

No kidding. My point was if you go to work out and walk out of there looking "good" and not sweaty and gross, you're probably not doing it right or going for the wrong reasons!

I read something on Pinterest once. It said, "If you look good after doing it, you're not doing it right!" Putting makeup on before going to the gym is just an invitation for raccoon eyes and bad skin from make/sweat clogging your pores!
