Hello Everyone! I am really excited to join this group. I seem to do much better when I'm active in a group. My goal is to lose the last 20 pounds by Christmas so when I saw the group I knew it was for me. Feel free to add me.

One of my all time favorite wrestlers. RIP

Do yourself a favorite and put the scale in a closet and forget about it. I use measurements to gage my progress. Also it's about how you feel. The scale is not your friend trust me I drove myself crazy at the beginning of my journey.

Stay active...watch your portion size and enjoy yourself.

I would love to lose 10-15 pounds by Christmas and start the new year in maintenance mode.

Aug 1: 159.2 starting weight Aug 8: no change
-
Starting this challenge at 159.2 and looking forward to taking 10 pounds off in August. My goal weight is 140 so this will get me closer to that ultimate resting weight.

My schedule right now puts workouts at 11p -Midnight or later it just depends on the day. I love Wii Zumba and Kettlebell workouts from youtube. I burn over 300 calories doing 20 minutes with the Kettlebells.

5'3" and goal weight is 140-145 however It would be nice to lower my body fat % as well.

Awesome post!!! I had a celebration today as well and consumed over 2000 calories so cheers to indulging without stress!!!

Jumping jacks...make them your friend! I did a month long challenge along with my 2x a week kickboxing class and went from a 38DD to a 36D so far. Start slow with 100 jacks a for a few days then add 100 each day and by the end of the month you will see results. No cheating _straight arms all the way.

Eating out will get you each time _either in calories or Sodium. If I have to grab something out then I amp up my workout and keep it moving. Can't beat yourself up_ ish happens.

I would encourage you to be focused on your health because you are your best advocate. Also you never know who you might inspire along your journey. There could be someone in that diner on the same says you are who notices your approach to health and takes that as the push they need to start their own journey.

I hate morning workouts and there is no way I can do anything on an empty stomach. I prefer late night workouts after all my daily tasks are done and the house is quiet.
-
Today I woke up early (not a morning person) to walk 5.66 miles with my Sorors!
-
I'll have what you're having!
-
If you are hungry please eat. I have to tweak my intake constantly. Your body will tell you what it needs _listen.

You may want to check your form as well. I had terrible pain before I corrected myself (was running flat footed without knowing it) and also stretch your hip flexors and change your shoes. New Balance has excellent technology to help beginners. Good luck!

Lose 2.8 pounds standing between me and primary goal. AMP up strength training to improve uppper body. Work on eliminating the next 10 to 15 pounds to ultimate goal.
-
I really want to run a 5k thus August but I'm still at a turtle's pace and can only run about .5 a mile before I have to walk again. Baby steps...
-
Been there... done that. The easiest thing to do is to just move. Start slow like take the stairs instead of elevator or park furthest from the door at the mall so you have to walk and yes it will be hard at first but stay with it. Walking is a great way to clear your mind while adding great movement for your whole body.

Hit the park this morning for a 3 mile walk/jog.

I have the same goal _started at 200 currently at 163.8 looking forward to 145! My profile pic is at my highest weight and I've always hidden from the camera so I don't have any pics _planning a full photo shoot when I hit goal. Good luck ladies!

I try to forgive myself first (ish happens) then get in a solid workout and amp up my water intake. You will bounce back no worries.

Making the transition up to TDEE minus 20% (at 1670 now) but struggling with clean eating.

Belly fat is the worst. I've seen change but not nearly as much as the other problem areas like hips, thighs and bottom. I'm just trying to keep the area working _ Jackie Warner crunchless abs DVD is very good.
-
I never thought about it being connected to my curved spine...wow!

Luv it!
