The right balance is key. I was at 1200 calories burning 300 calories 4x a week. I was always starving so I spiked my workout and calories and broke through a 3 week plateau. Now I'm at 1550 calories burning on average 500 calories 4x a week.

My focus is on Sodium and Sugar because they are the most out of control for me. If I don't monitor them I'm over everyday.

17 pounds so far calories cycling and walking 4x a week and kickboxing 2x a week.

Listen to your body. Whatever it says is what it needs and it won't give you what you need till it is satisfied. I'm learning not to be hard on myself. Give yourself a break and start over tomorrow. You have time...the race is not given to the swift!

I try to use yoga as a replacement for emotional eating. I redirect my focus and usually after 30 minutes I feel much better and no longer need the comfort food.

I suffer with this too. Went to physical therapy and can handle it much better now. Elliptical trainer would be my choice during s flare.

I make sn exception for Sweet Tomato buffet. Salad, soups, potato bar, frozen yogurt and fruit infused water.
