I have lost weight with running in the past. Make sure you start out slow. I followed the C25K program, it's where a lot of people start. I agree with lifting weight along with running, it will improve your running and help you lose more weight.

I have my activity level set at moderately active and that gives me about 2200 calories a day. I sit all day at work but I work out 6 days/week.

No one is saying that you can't lose weight if you overtrain and diet. Keeping that weight off is a different story. In one week they didn't lose 10 pounds of fat.

I think C25K recommends running 3 days a week, especially if you're new to running. Take that 7th day off and relax or go for a walk.

Try eating more fruits and veg, I saw hardly any produce in your diary. You also might need to eat some of your exercise calories back, especially when you're doing 2 workouts a day. Hope this helps!
