Id say no because I feel the same way when my husband goes with me. I just want to put my music on and go and he likes to walk SLOW! Maybe use the walk with your mom as a warm up or cool down….or just tell her that you want to run.

I really have just stopped worrying about the work out cals being added to my starting total. I jsut make sure I stay a little under or right at the starting cal goal for the day. The baby loves to be outside so maybe we will just take 2 walks a day (averages out to be little over 4 miles a day to get to 120 miles) That should be do able sense we typicaly walk about 1.5 miles a day....so just need to add an extra block on to our route.

That is true. We have a party at our house every Dec and this year there were about 50 adults and about 20 kids. Yeah I was sweating and heart racing when I was down to the wire of spending the whole day cleaning and cooking and preping food.

You have to allow yourself to have a "treat" once in awhile. If you need a sweet eat a cookie....or single serve frozen pie or cake thing from wal mart in the frozen section. Take your measurements. If your lifting weights then you may not lose weight but you might lose inches. Don’t drink sodas/cokes even if they are diet and drink A LOT or water. And you do need to eat back some of the cals that you are burning...not all but some of them. More so if you are working out every day.
