Hi ladies. I know the month is more than halfway over but I'd like to recommit as well. My ankle isn't completely recovered but I need to do SOMETHING to get back on track - so I'm going to commit to swimming 3x/week again and add back more exercise as my ankle can handle it.

Aloha! We're in similar situations right now. I'm 31, 5'4, and 229lbs. Married, no kids or pets. Living in Honolulu, HI. Have been logging on and off for awhile; hit 30 consecutive days of logging but missed a day, so starting the count over again. Hope we can be MFP buddies!

So awesome - congrats on your amazing achievements! My parents love to do obstacle races - except for when my mom fell off a wall, breaking her arm and tearing two ligaments in her knee :-\ I think that was the Spartan Race too! But she can't wait to recover and get back into those crazy races so they MUST be addicting!…

Still on track!

Been eating crappy, but if I lose 1.8 pounds by next week Tuesday I'll still be on track for my New Year's goals. Recommitting (again).

Failing this challenge miserably. Husband had car issues the other day, by the time we got everything sorted and back to the mechanic there was no time to go home and cook dinner before my Junior League meeting so I let him talk me into a cheeseburger from Wendy's. We really don't eat fast food so often (he was fast food…

160 lbs in 18 months!!! That is awesome! You've been so great - you can do this!

Hi Candace! I'm 5'4 and 233 lbs. Have been an on again, off again MFP user for longer than I care to admit, but when I'm "on", it's great! I'd also love to make friends with you ladies in the same boat!

Demilade - what a great idea! I actually track my measurements on a spreadsheet and have future dates' weigh ins estimated at 1.4lb/week loss. When I WAS sticking to it and logging faithfully, it really worked! Soooo my New Year's Resolution is to get below 200 lbs by the end of the year! 9-Jul 233 STARTING POINT :ohwell:…

Welcome vjivy! I am also on and off, but hoping that the "ON" phase sticks for a longer period of time this time! It's so helpful when your husband is in it with you. Mine was the worst, always buying ice cream and sweets and eating in front of me. But when he was backing me up, we were doing great! Just start logging your…

Why is July so much harder than January??? Come baaaack motivation!!!! ::Runs after motivation, starts huffing and puffing:: Crap. ::Walks after motivation?::

ACK. I totally spaced on this and had McDonald's for breakfast on Monday. I was supposed to go grocery/costco shopping with my husband later that day and we didn't have milk or eggs or bananas for my normal breakfast choices (cereal, eggs & toast, or protein shakes) so I was like.. eh it can't hurt. :( Ugh obviously it…

I'm job hunting now so I can't go completely dry (too many professional mixers, networking, etc... drinking is an important part of Asian business culture) but I will give up fast food and soda. Hubby and I have gotten lazy about eating well and have stopped way too many times at a Jack in the Box, McDonald's…

Great job

That's fantastic! You are amazing!

Welcome back Bebe! I feel you about exams - yikes.
-
Haha yes I have a nephew like that - he's exhausting! Hope you have a blast with your fam!

Thanks for the welcome! And for all the nudges while I was gone. :flowerforyou: I'm trying to get back into the habit of logging right now. We're heading to SF/Napa Valley for the next two weeks so my calorie counts are going to be mostly guesses and filled with wine and decadent meals:drinker: , but I'm still going to log…

This is a great link Anne - thanks! I just tried this class for the first time today and OF COURSE my heart rate monitor broke yesterday so I had no idea what the burn was. But the class seemed similar to a few of the kickboxing/martial arts classes I've done before, and the link you gave posted comparable numbers to what…

Did day 9 and 10 yesterday (March 10). I know I'm behind, but I think I'm going to stay behind and just align the day numbers with the dates, I keep getting confused. :ohwell:
-
Well I'm definitely BEHIND on this, but I'm still in it. Day 11 done.
-
I finally tried Body Pump. It was AWESOME!
-
This is great

You are doing way better than ok - you are doing awesome! You're averaging more than 2.5 lbs a week since JULY- most of us struggle to lose more than one a week! Thank you for being our inspiration!
-
I feel like... as long as we EVENTUALLY do it, that should be considered a win  3/11 done!
-
Sorry I've been slacking - caught up to today! Ab Challenge 3/5, 3/6, 3/7, 3/8, 3/9, & 3/10 (rest day) done! Yikes!
