I purchased the combo pack - the Fitbit Flex and the Aria scale. I have worn the gadget for 1.5 days and I love it. It's fun and motivating. I turned 50 last April and never hit my goal of losing 10 pounds before the big day. Hopefully this will give me the focus I need. According to the scale I am 38.8% body fat. yuck!!!!

If you like to read - read on the bike. Another thing that works for me - play your favorite smartphone games to pass the time. I sometim es play suduko, or word games, anything to distract me. While playing the games on my smart phone I also listen to up beat music.

I am 5 ft 2 inches. I was 104 when I married at age 29:happy: . I just turned 49 and have learned to love curves. Frankly, if you are too skinny at 50 you look older than you are. I am aiming for a fit 127 when I hit 50.

I had success with the original WW points system where veggies were zero points and most fruits equalled 1 point. Then WW changed their point values (and the formula by which foods were converted into points). The change was frustrating!! I had to ditch my cookbooks (or reclaculate the point values), ditch the spreadsheet…

Like you I have now opened up my food journal. I have been eating some of my exercise calories which I may have to rethink.
