What's your goal? To lose weight, or to build muscle/strength? If it's the former, then you need to eat in a deficit, regardless of "needing to, in order to have the strength to pull so much weight." If it's the latter, then carry on.

I have a Wahoo Kickr bike trainer and, as I recall, I couldn't link it directly to mfp--I had to link it to MapMyFitness/MapMyRun and have it come in that way.

I thought you were supposed to avoid seeds when you have diverticulosis/IBS? Have you specifically asked your doctor/dietician whether these are ok for you? Personally I don't normally have swallowing/texture issues, but I absolutely cannot stomach chia pudding. Way too slimy/clotty for me.

When you dropped the shake, did you compensate for the calories from shake by eating something else instead--or is that the cereal you're eating every night?

Seems a little high for a yin-type yoga class, IMO. (I do vinyasa/flow yoga classes and only give myself ~200 calories for 75 minutes of work.) If you are eating back your exercise calories then I would err on the conservative side for any calorie burns.

Like anything else, unless you have health issues that require you to be vegan, I would highly suggest working your way into this rather than going cold turkey.

Cortisol causes water retention. You should try to better manage your stress levels and get some sleep...

Is there a possibility that it's the gross calories versus net (adds back in your BMR)? I use a Garmin Fenix and I've noticed that it will say one thing, the Garmin Connect App says something different, and then Strava has a third different value. I go with the most conservative value and even then just consider it to be…

Just because you go into maintenance doesn't mean you will stop losing fat/gaining muscle. If you aren't already, consider adding weightlifting to your workout (even at maintenance) and continuing any cardio work you're doing (or even add some more there, too).

Manduka Pro mats (very spendy - $100+) or Lululemon 5 mm (less spendy - $70ish). If you don't want to invest a ton now you can always double up on less expensive mats.

The only recipes that I have for chard are not really diet-friendly. One involves garlic, cream, and parmesan cheese and the other has italian sausage and pasta. Both are yummy but not really healthy...

Assuming it's not an injury, I'm a big fan of "active" rest days--I go for a walk, go for a hike, take an easy swim, do yoga... something just to keep moving and burn a few extra calories!

Wait--you're 44 years old and you're just now realizing this?

A chia breakfast bowl from Whole Foods. I don't normally have texture issues (for example, I have absolutely no issue with tapioca pudding), but the texture of the chia (so slimy and clotty) was disgusting.

Agree with above. I think, even with a cold, you would have been able to smell if it were bad.

As everyone else said, water weight related to TOM. If you cannot wean yourself from the 4x per day weighing, at least start tracking in an app that shows you the trends (Trend Weight, Libra, Happy Weight) so you can see that you're still losing weight (but it may not be completely linear).

I love the cover of this by The Primitives (definitely more pop-y). Not that I don't love Nico (my last dog was named after her), but their version is just a little harsh for a wedding.

No--muffins are just sad, ugly cupcakes.

Edited to add: I just took a peek at your history--you've posted pretty much the same question in 5 different forums. I think you know the answer to your question.

See a doctor. A dramatic weight loss without significant increase in activities or decrease in calories can be a sign of a serious health issue. You are significantly underweight for an adult.
-
I've gone through the same. Priorities change, especially when children are involved. Don't feel like you're resigned to this weight forever or that you're giving up--as you said, it's just a stage in your life and things are bound to change again.

Hunger pangs or pain? The former is probably normal if you are eating less than you are used to. The latter could be concerning. As mentioned before--a change in diet may cause gas/bloating/diarrhea until your body gets used to it--things like additional fiber or artificial sweeteners (sorbitol) are known to do this. If…

Keep up with your tracking and you'll know for sure if any weight gain is due to a change in eating habits or a decrease in your metabolism. 14 pounds won't just show up overnight!

How much do you currently weigh? Several years ago when I was at my highest weight (5'7", 182 lbs) my trainer measured me with calipers and my average came out around 35%. I also was considered athletic and no stranger to the gym, but I was overweight. Happy to say that the weight I've lost that number has come down…

Adding on to this thought--online calculations are estimates... If you have underlying medical conditions (e.g., hypo- or hyper-thyroidism) that will skew your numbers. So if you are correctly logging your food, consuming less than your TDEE, and still not losing, you may have mis-estimated your BMR/TDEE. You *could* have…

Hydrostatic weighing, Bod Pod, or DEXA scan.

In moderation these are perfectly fine

Sounds like a recipe for diarrhea.

Doesn't appear that your doctor is really following the standard of care--though this article is 10 years old, so maybe those standards have changed: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2835909/ Also--it's not the side effects of the drug on a pregnant woman--it's the birth defects in babies that rival those of…

Given the warnings on accutane I'm utterly shocked that your dermatologist didn't insist that you were on hormonal birth control.
