Thanks for the support!! I'm by no means a quitter, so I will keep on keeping on!!!

Thank you! I have recalculated my calories multiple times...sometimes up and sometimes down...depending on where I was weight wise at the time...when I get stuck for a few weeks, I'd usually try to cut back a little on the food intake and ramp up the cardio some...but that hasn't been doing it lately...just kinda…

I know all too well how difficult it is to not let the scale get you down...I lost 45 pounds at the rate you are going 1 a week, most of last year, and in the past 4 months - nada. I'm eating the same, exercising 6 days a week, all that good stuff, but that scale gets me annoyed every time I step on it! :grumble: Don't let…

This!!! Definately go for some "staples" jeans/ black pants, stuff like that and just get a few new tops (or slightly used  ) then go through your closet and find all those items that were a little snug before you lost weight and try them on again maybe with different items? Good luck!! Great problem to have!!

Great NSV's!!! Gotta love it when you don't have to button your pants anymore!! I have been stalled for a few months on my weight, but things must be shifting around because I have been complimented many times recently by people at work, and I haven't lost a pound in months!! My biggest NSV was lowering my blood…

I have been a daily weigher since I started this journey over a year ago....but recently I've decided to put the scale away for a while - so I'm planning on weighing monthly....but f you are just starting out, go with weekly and just be aware of normal fluctuations. :flowerforyou:

Great work and dedication! I'm also over the year mark...actually 460 some days! It does become habit for sure!

Great story, and what a great success!!! I've come a long way myself...only 8 pounds to my goal...looking for some inspiration to push me through to the end!

I like to imagine that whoever brought the stuff in or made it didn't wash their hands....and it's so gross to me that I don't even WANT to eat it!!

I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years....and I don't eat the "fake meat" stuff at all....kinda grosses me out....I rely heavily on beans, eggs, cheese, yogurt -(loving Dannon light and Fit Greek Yogurt...only 80 calories!! ) And I will look for things like cereal that contains high protein, oatmeal, cream of…

That's my goal weight as well- (150) I'm 5'3" so I'm hoping when I get there I'll be happy with it....if not, maybe 5 more pounds??

I always try to reward myself with new clothes, or something that I now "need" due to my weight loss - if I can fit comfortably into a smaller size pants, I buy them!! I have also bought new running shoes, workout clothes, etc, because some of my old stuff was literally falling off of me!! Good luck!!
-
Awesome loss!!! You look so happy too!!! :)
-
Not sure if this was directed at me? I started MFP in January at 205lb, slow and steady loss since then, and down to 164 at my lowest so far! So 41 pounds in 10 months.

I"m 5'3" and have my current goal set at 150...might go to 145 after that...but not sure yet...hovering in the 165 range this week... If you are actually considered "big boned" somewhere in the 140's should be where you are aiming for....but again that's a personal decision, depending on how you feel and look at that…
