Sabra Supremely Spicy...amazing.

jaz050465 - Thank you, I'll look into it.

I've only been using my HRM since Christmas but didn't realize it wasn't suitable for weight/strength training. Why is it not reliable for strength training?

Nutritional yeast is an amazing popcorn topper...has sort of a cheesy flavour, yum.

Theobroma makes the BEST dark chocolate I've ever had. You can buy mini bars, only 2 pieces, and they come in different flavours (made with real fruit pieces; orange, raspberry, cranberry). Definitely a nice treat! http://www.theobromachocolat.com/

It's been about 15 years since I've had meat (2 since having dairy/eggs) so I don't recall what it was like at the beginning however, I'm still often hungry. I do find that increasing my protein (beans, tofu, etc) has drastically reduced my hunger issues. Try not to fill up on pasta/bread and try to include more beans &…

Tank tops. I can't remember the last time I wore a tank top without a cardigan.

I was doing "Sweatin' to the Oldies" when I was in my early 20's and now, a decade later, I'm doing TurboFire workouts. You're only as old as you feel - whatever makes you feel good, do it! :)

I've travelled to the States a few times (Mid-Western states & New England) and I found the portion sizes to be quite big however, you don't have to eat the entire serving. Wherever you dine, ask if they can prepare a 1/2 portion or a lunch-size portion & try small, locally owned restaurants instead of chain restaurants -…

I usually hand wash mine with mild soap & water.

I have the same problem most days so I find myself working out more so I can have another snack. I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do but it seems to work OK for me. I'm interested in hearing other opinions on this too.

Never had one plain but they're really tasty with natural PB, mmm!

I had this happen too. Turns out my heart rate signal was low and the 2 devices weren't 'communicating'. When it beeps next, take a quick glance down and see what it says.

TurboFire is a really fun workout and the schedule is set up to combine cardio & strength training. I would suggest that before spending money on a personal trainer.

Go with an organic sugar (not the refined, white stuff). 15 calories isn't going to break your diet, plus it tastes SO much better than artificial sweeteners.

YUM!

I used to be a potato chip addict...now I'm a Popchip addict. They're AMAZING.

Try cutting them very small and adding them to soups and pasta sauces.

Homemade lentil soup - you can control the sodium when you make it from scratch. Delicious, filling and nutritious!

I LOVE Earth Balance! Great product.

I got a Polar FT7 for Christmas and I also thought my heart rate/calorie burn was pretty high. When I checked it against what other sources say are 'normal' heart rates while woking out, it seems accurate. I've used it about 5 times this week and there is a pattern so I believe it's correct.

I had the same reaction.

I used to take sugar in my coffee and gradually reduced it until I didn't need it anymore. It took about 6 months but now I find any amount of sugar in my coffee is too much. Baby steps will get you there (also, try to cut out the artificial sweeteners, they're so unhealthy).

Love coffee. Used to drink it with Silk soy creamer but changed to almond milk to cut back on calories/fat. Still tastes great. Yum.

I've been vegetarian for 13 years and a vegan for almost 2. I love it! Never felt better and I love waking up each day knowing my choices will do as little harm as possible to both animals and our environment. There are great cookbooks out there that will help introduce you to some really tasty foods. One suggestion - pick…

Amy's meals are fabulous! Their soup is also amazing but if you're trying to move away from all of their meals, why not try to create your own meals that are similar. Make a veggie lasagna and freeze individual portions or make some rice and a stir fry, make a few meals out of it and freeze those too. Burritos are also…

Vegetarian chili is great and you could also try it in spaghetti sauce or make some sloppy joes, mmmmm.

Try juicing. You'll get the full benefits of raw veggies but it's much easier to consume. This is very tasty: (recipe used by Joe Cross and Phil Staples, "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead"). 6 Kale Leaves 1 Cucumber 4 Celery Stalks 2 Green Apples 1/2 Lemon 1 piece of ginger

TurboJam is great. I lost weight and toned up but after a year or so, I became bored with the routines. I'm now on week 12 of TurboFire and it's AMAZING! I highly recommend TurboJam to start and if you want something a little more intense, step it up to TurboFire, you won't be disappointed!
