  • I'm working on a Shrink Yourself program that is really helping a lot. To check it out go to ShrinkYourself.com. I've been able to identify the emotional triggers I have and work on ways to deal with them without eating.
  • I use the BodyBugg and I really like it. The main thing I like is that I am very competitive and by keeping track of what I am really doing throughout the day it encourages me to do a little bit more. On the days I don't wear it I don't exercise as much and I eat more (like yesterday :explode: ) Created by MyFitnessPal.com…
  • I really dislike water. I find it easier to drink if I add "just cranberry" cranberry juice to the water. To one liter of water I add about 1/8 c of juice. I like it better than adding lemon and its good for your kidneys beside.
  • I want to get to 200 before we leave for our cruise on July 26. Oh well, that's 29 lbs which is more than a pound a day. Guess I better be more practical. SW - 243 PW -229 GW - 215 this month 14 lbs this month 3.5 lbs/wk Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Food Diary

  • I have 2 zuccini plants in my yard. That's one too many. I don't worry about shredding the z uccini. I just slice it up and add the sauce. For protein and variety I alternate between ground turkey, Jenny O lean smoked sausage, and chicken breast. Occassionally I get really large zuccini if I forget to pick for a few days.…
  • In circuit training you are working all different pars of your body. The gym I use is set up so if I start on one side and use each machine down to the other side I have accomplished a circuit.
  • Help your sister move. You will get a great workout and she will owe you.
  • Thank you thank you thank you!!! I think I'll hug you!. I thought I was preety smart when it came to nutrition but this explained things I hadn't understood before. I have change my meal preferences to 6 times a day and I am making sure I spread my calories out. I'm looking forward to greater results:flowerforyou:
  • My birthday is also in October and I also want to lose 30 lbs by then. That will put me at 200. I haven't seen that in years. Perhaps we can support each other.

  • School is out for the summer and I have no excuse for not going to the gym every day. Our cruise is 6 weeks away and my goal is 200 lbs. I met my last goal (prom dress) so I'm sure I can do this. My son was so proud of how I looked in the smallest of the 3 dresses that he decided not to hold me to the massage competition.…
  • I'm in. I have a cruise planned for right before school starts again and any motivation I can get will help. So when do we start? Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Food Diary
  • At this point I am just happy that my son and I are motivating each other. If he wins, I will be very proud of him. Of course every pound or size I lose along with him makes me a winner as well.
  • The prom I had to chaperone was last night and I knew I had time to get into one dress, hoped I could lose enough for a second choice, and doubted I could get into a third. A choice is always nice, but I just didn't want to buy a new one. To my surprise, I tried all three on and they all fit! I'm a little…
  • I just tried on my formals and 2 actually fit. One to go then I'll have choices for the prom I am chaperoning next week. I'm just excited I won't have to buy one this year. Next goal: we are going on a cruise the end of July. My son and I are competing to see who loses the greatest percentage of body fat. The…
  • I love using spaghetti squash instead of noodles and the nutritional value has to beat any other pasta. To make my spaghetti even better I cook it in the microwave with various italian seasonings, garlic, and onion powder. Then I add the sauce on the top. Yum - we're having that for dinner tonight. Created by…
  • My immediate goal for May is to get into a formal I already own for the prom I have to chaperone. About 10 more pounds will do it. Then I'll work on the next goal. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
